It is really sad that Disney has had to change their policy because greedy selfish people used the DAS system to get an advantage in the lines. It has unfortunately caused much heartache for those that are truly disabled.
I’m so done Disney, between their money grubbing ways, their uncaring attitude, and their woke agenda. They will never see another dime from me land our family were season pass holders, for years. They act like they are doing you a favor by accessing their premises.
This action is absolutely disgusting. Disney used to care about their guests and has sadly chosen profit at the sacrifice of quality customer service. Despite what Disney says, they are giving preferential treatment to those with autism and it is a violation of Title 3 of the ADA. No business, including Disney, has the right to pick and choose which disabilities to serve or deny guests with certain disabilities access to a service.
Disney doesn’t care about guests anymore. We used the DAS for over a decade because a family member uses two canes and cannot stand in line because of the pain. Genie+ or its current equivalent is a waste of money for us because it takes us a long time to walk from one attraction to another and we can rarely do more than 1 or 2 attractions during a visit. As a result, we just don’t visit Disney very often now, and when we do, we typically only do the shows that don’t require us to wait in long lines. After being avid fans of Disney for over 30 years, so much of Disney disgusts us now. We will never again stay in a Disney hotel or go on a Disney cruise.

Disney used to be very accommodating and helpful. Now they only want money. It’s frustrating because it used to be amazing!
