Light skinned is different than white. These actors don’t look white to me.

But casting an actor with a darker complexion is okay for Snow White in a movie?

    1. Wokey Dwarf

      Yes. Yes it is.

        Wrong!

You asked a question and I answered. If you have a different opinion, why ask in the first place? Just state your opinion instead. I’ve yet to hear a single compelling reason why a white person should be offended by this. I’m white and I couldn’t care less. My life is not negatively impacted by this movie’s existence. If yours is, then you have much deeper problems that should probably be addressed.

      Or making Ariel black?

Disney seems to have a skin tone problem. “White” characters are now POC, and POC are being “whitewashed”. There are enough shades of people in this country to get it right…if they cared to!

Wrong! It’s got to go both ways!

I’m happy to hear you like to go both ways. That’s very woke of you.

I much prefer POC: “Patooties of Color.”
