The dresscode that is mentioned: “All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.” only applies to halloween events. During regular operating hours only children are allowed to wear costumes
My beef with Disney’s dress code is that is is arbitrary to cast members. Each CM has their own opinion as to what does and/or does not comply with policy.
I also take issue when dress coded for a character that does not appear in the parks. If Disney does not display the character, why not allow Disneybounding, as long as the guest doesn’t portray themselves as CM’s?
If you wear a costume during regular business hours you should get thrown out of the park and if you squawk about it you should get banned from the park. Less social media clowns would be a good thing. And I don’t care what she bought for the costume.
Disneyland has a rule about adults not wearing costumes or dressing as characters. Disney bounding is wearing normal clothes with a color scheme to kinda-represent a character. Like a yellow shirt and skirt to pretend to be belle, or a green skirt and purple top to pretend to be Ariel. You can’t dress up as the characters though, and it’s pretty clear.

Time for Disney to modernize.

What made her think that she felt entitled to wear a costume during regular business hours.I am glad she didn’t get away with that.
