On one hand, it would be embarrassing to be weighed in front of everyone. On the other hand, rides have been mandating height requirements for decades, then width requirements as obesity set in and some legacy and modern rides just can’t accommodate such a heavyset person. So adding a weight requirement seems par, plus maybe lowering the weight limit if they’re concerned about individuals flying over the edges due to too much mass.
