A woman with platinum blonde hair and a small dragon perched on her shoulder stands in front of a pink, fairy-tale castle reminiscent of Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle. The sky is partly cloudy, and trimmed greenery surrounds the castle.

  1. I’ve been seeing more and more unique baby names pop up lately, and while I love a good, creative name, I can’t help but wonder about the long-term impact on the kid.
I know, I know, every parent wants what’s best for their little one. But imagine naming your child after a fictional character like Harley Quinn, for example. 👧🏻🃏 Sounds cool, right? Maybe. But what happens when they’re in school and other kids start teasing them? It’s heartbreaking to think about. 💔
A friend of ours went through this exact situation. Their daughter, who’s now a teenager, is miserable because of her name. She gets bullied all the time and wants to change it legally. 😣 It’s a tough pill to swallow.
I’m not saying don’t be creative, but maybe think twice before choosing a name that might cause your child some trouble down the road. What do you guys think?

    Is it Fair to Them?
