I call BS on the part of Disney with the D+ contract nonsense. I don’t think that hold water.
I also call BS on suing Disney in this case. It’s up to an individual to be careful with their allergies. The world doesn’t bow to you because you’re allergic to something. It’s on you to watch what you ingest!

There’s something about this whole tragic situation that doesn’t make sense. The reaction started while walking through Disney Springs and emergency medicine wasn’t taken immediately, why? You are suppose to take it as soon as you start reacting. They could have come in contact with a peanut allergen just walking through the crowd at Disney Springs, we avoid most of DS due to a tree nut allergy in our family. Also Ragland Road is not a Disney restaurant, they rent space from Disney just like all the other non Disney restaurants.

While I don’t think the Disney Plus thing will hold up in court, I have to say it is not appropriate to sue Disney over this. First of all, you are responsible for yourself anywhere you are. Second, why wasn’t medication taken promptly? Third, your allergies are not Disney’s fault.
This woman was supposedly a doctor, for Heaven’s sake. She should know better.

I agree that Disney shouldn’t be sued because of this. In good faith though Disney should give the family at least something to prove that they do care about all these guests. At the same time though, if you know that you have certain allergies to certain food items, eat something that could have what your allergic to in it, not take the medicine before or after you eat this potential food item that your allergic to, then sorry it’s your bad. I’m allergic to shrimp and I avoid anything that’s been touched by shrimp. Which stinks because I love shrimp. I do feel horrible for the loss of this doctor but, suing Disney isn’t going to make anything better. You can sue the restaurant since Disney doesn’t own that particular restaurant.
