I have both Hulu and Disney +.
If they do shut down other free streaming services, and implement the $ 42.99 fee, I will be canceling those services. It’s my hope that people everywhere will also cancel. If streaming is so unprofitable then discontinue it. People are having a hard time feeding their families and Disney and companies want to raise prices. Shame on you, do better.
I will be canceling my Disney+ Hulu package if prices increase any much more. I am low income and can’t afford to pay for yearly increases. That $42.99 is almost ⅓ of the cost to get in to Disneyland. I remember when I visited a few times a year. With increasing of everything for greed I haven’t been to Disneyland in years
Jeremy, Absolutely, I’m just so confused by what everybody is buying up, or renting everybody else and I don’t know where to go to watch. It just like amazon prime has hbo max and cinemax sci. Fi. I think
Disney has Hulu and Max. I think netflix has AMC, Youtube t v has Stars, Showtime and h b o max I mean, it’s just a big mess.
I LOVE Fubo. I have just enough live local channels to be able to watch pretty much everything I would normally watch on Xfinity but a Lot cheaper. I have Hulu and Disney + so all the grandbabies have access to all their shows. Fubo offers Nick Jr, and other than Nascar, I don’t watch sports. Fubo has all the Nascar races. It’s a winner for me. We pay about 120 a month for everything. Raising prices will definitely cause me to stick strictly with Fubo and dump the others and won’t miss it.
I only have ESPN because I was forced to in order to get Disney+/Hulu at a better price. I never watch it.
It seems completely obvious that Disney, Warner, et al are intentionally trying to get away with murder… I mean creating a monopoly. The only folks they’re trying to help are their own executives.
All monopolies should be shut down.
If the price goes through because of a sports service issue it will be ironic for me to have to cancel Disney since I don’t even like or watch sports anymore. SMH
well I don’t understand the issue based on the current allowances of monopolies, as an example Amazon and Facebook dominating the internet. Amazon sees how other business ideas are profiting then buys them out or implements the same idea on a much broader scale putting the little guy out of business. At least Venu is several companies combining forces to provide a platform. Bezos is a Monopoly in every sense of the word.

I really wish I didn’t pay twice yesterday for my phone and my TV. If I knew this I would have some money right now.
