Where are Disney Parks doing well? The Japanese parks are operating at a loss. The Shanghai & Hong Kong parks are not exactly money-makers. Euro Disney is flat. The USA parks being the most expensive and the reputation of the brand has a lot to do with the current sentiment.

When you keep raising prices and take away Magical Express luggage services and FastPass now you pay for people, can’t afford to go to the parks. The Magic is gone so people see Disney just continue to milk every penny they can get and Walt has to be turning over in his grave. Disney has forgotten “Be Our Guest”.

So right. They lost the customer magic by taking away perks and not using the money to MAINTAIN the hotels and parks at the old high standard.

I would like too go on more than 3 rides a day all day before you can ride all the rides in one day now it takes two or three days why

  4. Ah, Disneyland. Once a magical kingdom, now a sardine can with a hefty cover charge. 🏰💰 I remember when you could actually enjoy a churro without elbowing a stranger. Those were the days! Fast forward to now, and it’s like the entire state of California decided to have a family reunion at the same time. 🤯 My wife and I were there during the whole ‘Rona fiasco, and let me tell you, it was a madhouse! 🤪 The parking lot was more chaotic than a Black Friday sale, and snagging a spot for that Star Wars show was like trying to catch a unicorn. 🦄 As for the good old days? Yeah, those were about 20 years ago. Sigh. I’m starting to think Cinderella’s fairy godmother needs a serious chat about crowd control. 🧚‍♀️🧹

20 years ago, a lot of people were going to the malls & movie theaters & cheap ballparks & concerts instead! Thank you greed, internet & Steve Jobs & his smart phone(which IMO ruined EVERYTHING).

I won’t be going any time soon. So I really don’t care.

I haven’t been in 4years I been going to universal at the 3 top end hotels with express pass included and I stay 7 days it cheaper than Disney with the Harry Potter package it’s about 4,000.00

Well if Disney keeps going the way they are going namely ” Woke another name for it might be Socialist ” they will ruin Walt’s DREAM ! The stock market can see what is going on and millions of Walt’s faithful can see it too and alot of them have been saying so ! So Disney get on the BALL and turn Disney around and get back on Walt’s track !!

Keep raising prices while reducing product, what does Disney expect to happen?
For a company that says they are listening to the people, yet don’t take suggestions, they sure need hearing aids.

I love going to Disney World, been going since it opened. We live 4 hours away, so it has become our go to vacation. I like the $200 deposit or as we call it the Disney Layaway Plan. I did like when we selected rides for free with Fast Passes. I don’t like being glued to my phone and the extra money to ride rides. I miss the perks of staying at a Disney resort. Instead of doing 4 parks we now select two or 1 park to do. The reason why, it is simple the cost has become too much to justify the expense. This year we may only do 1 park; however we may give Universal a try.

I think Disney un-demand will be longer than Q4 once Epic Universe opens.

  10. Oh really

    “Demand moderation”?
How about moderating the price gouging. So it’s really “inclusive” and not just for the wealthy.
How about moderating the obvious disdain for the many and pandering to the few.

I just thought about something, this is to the investors that have Disney stock. If Disney does not go back to what Walt had conceived as far as Disney there is a good chance that you could lose your investment in Disney and I do not think you would like that. So as a investor I think it would be a good idea to call the right people !!

I also wonder if the decendents of Walt & Lillian, Roy & Edna, Herbert & his wife, Raymond & his wife, and Ruth and her husband even care what is happening to Disney. They have all those millions of dollars what would they think if it all sudden stopped coming in. I think Walt would give them a good chewing out ! There would be Billions of Walt Disney faithful very disappointed because of all the damage Woke AKA Socialist’s have caused !!

      Dumped my Disney stock.

Didn’t the board derisively say a few years ago that raising the prices continuously would cause some to stay away but it would be made up by the people willing to spend the higher cost for an enhanced experience?
They finally reached their goal so what is the problem?

Executives are making way to much money for what they do when profit goes down they start charging for all the free stuff like fastpass ride to an from airport wristbands at one time they charged you park there( didn’t work did it ) With the cost of everything the average person can not afford WDW

I agree with these other posts. We had been regular Disney World fans since the late 1970s including 15 years as a Florida annual Passholder. But no more: higher and higher entrance prices, now charging for Fastpass, more expensive and smaller food options, deteriorating physical plant conditions, much more surly employee base,
no free AirPort Express, charging for onsite hotel parking, etc. Disney’s bigger long term problem is we no longer have any desire to visit and share Disney World experiences with our grandkids so they risk losing a whole generation of fans and customers.

You’ve taken something sweet and magical primarily for children, and made it political. You chose sides making your fans and customers choose as well. How do you have days for gay people?? It’s Disney?? For CHILDREN??
    Go woke-go broke..

Not surprised. Expect it to continue as this formerly every 2-3 years, deluxe resort family is going elsewhere.

Keep going with your business strategy. It’s working out so well. Only Disney could destroy the Star Wars franchise.
