    Yes Lillian was the one who told Walt that the first name he had picked out would not be good and they settled on Mickey ! If you notice most of the characters names were 2 syllable names, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald ( then you add Duck ) Daisy and so on plus Chip and Dale. The reason for this is it makes it easier for little ones to say their names. SMART !!!
