I think the biggest problem with the ride is that it only seats three to four people, which is a large part of why the line is always so long. I suspect they are going to transition to larger ride vehicles that seat more people, as it would help with line flow.
They’d need more than a month to do that. Weight limit adjustments, permits, hse, etc. They’re just gonna remove the Indian scene to stay woke instead of awake. There is nothing culturally inappropriate about the village. Mermaids don’t exist and a boat can’t fly, and fairy dust can’t make you fly. What tribes have sent complaints? As someone pointed out, it’s Neverland. Different place that was made up and not based on anything historical. Look my children grow up in a world where there are school pew pews and worse. Let’s let them pretend for awhile.

This new generation of whining Karen’s and sensitive snowflakes has got to stop and grow up already. Finding racial insults in every single little thing, and actively seeking it out, that’s getting a bit old. It’s this how the new generations are going to be? Need to have everything all happy and non insulting in every manner possible? I’m glad I’ll be gone when a lot of the younger ones grow up.
Disney classic like this really aren’t offending or insulting anyone, just woke people viewing it that way, because they have to find issues in anything. Yet, they’re the same people that sit their children down on a computer, letting them scream insults, vulgarities, and even some very hateful and racist threats, on games like Fortnite. But that’s fine, it’s only a game. Yeah with real people playing it that they’re insulting. So, in Disney movie defense, is only an animated movie.
But that’s not ok, right? Hypothetical whining is all I see anymore.

Disney should leave “Peter Pan” just as it was made. The people who are complaining need to realize “You can’t Change History” and get over it. History can’t be “Erased”!!! It wasn’t meant as derogatory, it was play! The Native Americans are part of our history and what does Disney want them to be instead? No head dresses, feathers, bows and arrows? If they think it’s problematic to keep this simplified depiction of a culture in Peter Pan’s Flight, they would have to shut down It’s a Small World instantly as it is based on clichés of cultures from around the world. Peter pan abducted, Alice in Wonderland everyone was on hallucinating drugs. Bugs Bunny was a cross dresser. Missing children from the park by employees were found in the tunnels. Never been there, never will I go.

I guess I will put in my 2 cents worth of thought on this issue. Peter Pan, Pinnochio, Humpty Dumpty, Cinderella… the list goes on and on. The stories of Nursery Rhymes is make believe. It opens the minds of those who read about them, watch them in a movie or TV show, how to dream, and in the saying, “Anything your heart desires, your dreams come true”. I believe it was Jiminey Cricket was the one who sang the song.
If we are to change the way something is being portrayed from decades before woke became a household name, then in this case we would be seeing Peter Pan taking wendy and her brother’s to Neverland and instead of Portraying Indians sitting in a circle around a campfire, they will have to portray them sitting in a big chair looking out over the casino floor, making millions of dollars off of other peoples ethnicities. For the record, I have come across many Native American, indigenous, or whatever title you place on them, but when I have looked up indigenous people, they are isolated people and will kill anyone who comes within close contact. Check out the Sentineleas (spelling?) Living off the grid on their own island. It is listed as one place no one is ever allowed to visit.

First, we removed parts of the history when we removed the statues of Confederate generals, etc. These are things we need to teach about so it doesn’t happen again.
