They (cowardly) cancelled a new Batman movie with Keaton after, well the Flash wasn’t all it should have been, and used that as a sorry excuse to Cancel that project.
Batman 89 in cinema had to be seen then to understand just how groundbreaking it was!
Then returns went one even better…then they dropped the ball for 3 & especially 4, like they have done today after BVS. All it needed was minor tweaks not torn apart. I’m guessing WB didn’t understand the black suit for JL? Idiots!
NO ONE wants silly goofy stuff for juvenile delinquents!
There is no new Batman 89 movie. These goobers are making it seem like there’s going to be a new Michael Keaton Batman film. It’s just a book. And Batman horror movie is a fan film.
To me Michael Keaton’s Batman was the best interation of the character and whilst Batman Returns gets some grief – I actually loved it. Unfortunately due to tie in’s and merchandise (a move which ultimately killed off that franchise), it was all change for Batman Forever and whilst I loved The Riddler and Two Face – I couldn’t stand the moody Batman or Chase Meridian as I was expecting another Catwoman appearance. The least said the better about Batman and Robin – I will say one thing though – the only thing I did like was Poison Ivy.
I watched The Flash only because Keaton was back (couldn’t have cared less about The Flash character) and he was Phenomenal once again. I was very pleasantly surprised that the Danny Elfman Batman 1989 score came back too – brilliant incidental music.
If I had my way, they get Tim Burton back to reopen this franchise with the original plans they had……so many more bad guys to clean up after
Comments for Michael Keaton’s New Batsuit Revealed Ahead of Upcoming ‘Batman’ (1989) Sequel

Michael Keaton is Batman…no one played a better bat then he did
Tony
The actual fact, no one mate, from Bruce Wayne to Batman. One could say Ben Affleck perhaps slight better Bruce Wayne, that’s a fun take
Chico
Kevin Conroy… and he didn’t even need to be seen to do it

I say give Keaton one more good Batman movie and then retire him to mentor Terry for Batman Beyond.
