We were evacuated from Guardians of the Galaxy on July 4th. We were high up on the coaster , the lights turned on inside and the cast members walked us down the stairs. They were very professional, we never were in danger. We laughed about a new experience at Disney and learned more about what it looks like inside because it is so dark during the ride. We received a lightning pass to go back and ride again which we did. It’s all about your attitude in how you see things. Some people are just negative people, we had fun with it.
Hundreds narrowly escape danger at EPCOT??? I expected the huge silver ball building at the entrance to roll over the Moana World of Water. A ride stopped for some reason, no one mangled or killed, or tortured.
Agreed. Although disappointing to exit early an awesome ride, the only danger I can see is annoying parents not watching their kids and then yell at the ECV users for “almost” hitting their wife and kids, and why not, the whole park. I had to get in that dude’s face after he presumed to think that getting in my personal space and blaming me for his lack of responsibility seemed like the right thing to do. I told him to look at his kids instead his telephone.
Remy, ROTR, and MMRR are terrible rides. Not sure why trackless rides exist?! Terrible technology and they are constantly down!! Remy is the worse ride at WDW.
Actually MMRR is like GMR or even Dino and not 100% trackless. It actually has a better record than the others. The issue w MMRR is timing similar to Test Track too many cars sent out by CM will back things up. Wdi hates creating them but the money talks! Also isnt new tech and/or roller coasters what everyone loves!?
The only regular danger was the frustrated guests not finishing the ride. I think the story teller embellished on the title to get people to read
Unless it comes from a reliable source don’t bother to read
Such Drama. What was the danger that was narrowly escaped? Big hype and little content. This happens every day. If anyone goes to Disney or any theme park and expects everything to run 100% perfect with no interruptions then they need to get a reality check. With all of the technology in these rides any little glitch in the system probably shuts everything down for safety reasons.
I my family was in show exited on the River boat going around Tom Sawyer Island.. Boat cam to a haltright in front of the Tom Sawyer Rafts stations. They used the Tom Sawyer Rafts to off load us back to the park area and gave everyone 2 lightning lan passes for use on any ride except Tron
.. I have videos was a cool expereience.. al so in show exit on Tower of terror, we we in the shat ready for the first drop and it stopped , took forever to lower us down the shaft…
Got stuck on It’s A Small World, had to evacuate. Walked thru very shallow water, but had to listen to “that” song over and over and over again. Still a bit traumatized every time i hear It’s A Small World. We didn’t get anything for our troubles.
In one day, stuck 20 min in Haunted Mansion, then on Elsa right in front of “Let it Go” song, 10 minutes of that, then they lowered the water amazing to watch, walked everyone off down the back stairs, then on way out, 15 min on top of Spaceship Earth. Nothing dramatic, no Earth shattering , dangerous. All Disney Cast Members professional & Not one person complained.
Many rides don’t actually break down. There’s so many safety systems in place to protect injuries, that anything can trip them, from falling sunglasses and phones, to people trying to subvert seat belts, lap bars, or shoulder restraints.

Yes, on Micky and Minnie ‘s Runnaway Train ride. Twice in one day. Had to leave without total finish. Lots of wasted time.

What ridiculous writing, nobody was in danger. Save your unnecessary dramatics and stop writing.
