I don’t believe any of the above laws will affect park goers or employee/cast members adversely. Disney does have mandatory overtime for busy seasons, but they also have to be competitive with the work place. As a 17 year retired Disney cast member, I can’t see them denying people breaks or water…they can’t afford the optics of cast member not being happy and the potential effect that would have on guests. Many park and hotel cast members are represented by a union as well. The meat thing…no big deal. The balloon thing – Disney is pretty good in their disclosures about warning people what not to do, and that will probably show up in fine print on something a guest has to sign at checkin in the hotels. Balloon releases are a thing of the past and it’s a good thing releases have been outlawed. They ought to do the same with personal fireworks. Getting to throw out unruly guests is a cast-member dream, trust me. R: people not coming to Florida, hoping it falls off the continent, etc…just remember there are people here who still enjoy the state despite the craziness that comes of out Tallahassee.
