Who wants to tromp around in tourist trap Orlando any time of year .I was in Orlando in February briefly. Several times. too hot! Taking plane to California.the weather in areas of California. So nice! Low humidity and no mosquitoes. California a much better state than the backward state of Florida in so many ways.
I don’t know if Walt Disney was henpecked about the late Spring, entire Summer, and early Fall weather that exists in Florida, especially before Disney World was built. I did spend two days in the Magic Kingdom during the month of August 1974. Wild typical weather every day.

I just went to Disney a couple weeks ago and I burned so bad. I was dumping large amounts of water on my head. Forget drinking it cause that water that comes from the water fountains is nasty asf
Use sunscreen and reapply (if you burned the SPF was not high enough and you didnt reapply frequently enough)! Stay hydrated and dont be outside when the recommendations are to stay indoors…Nothing new here except maybe will start paying attention to climate change. PS Sorry you got burned.
Increasing sodium intake would lead to better electrolyte levels and a reduced possibility for hyponatremia for those who are in taking a significant amount of water while outdoors. It does not reduce the amount you sweat in any way.
Disney can’t control climate change. The state of Florida is doomed a slow and painful death. I know, I live here. It’s awful. Every year the days over 95 grow more and more numerous. When I was a child it was maybe 3-5 days a year that would be heat that you couldn’t be outside in, now it’s almost more than a month long.

Some visitors could UP THEIR ‘SODIUM’ LEVELS – to slow down their sweating in these sweltering conditions.
Disney could DEFINE different levels of “sun and heat exposure’ on their sites, at their gates, and at restaurants and cooling stations!!!
