My husband and I visit one of the Disney World theme parks at least twice a week and at times more then that. From personal experience I can state none of the parks are empty or even close to it. I fail to understand why this site continues to post so many untrue stories.

the parks are not empty but the lines dont seem to be as long as they usually are……..A ride that normally (in the past couple years) that were around an hour long or more seem to be closer to 30 to 40 minutes. Riding the train Sunday I saw the new Tiana ride had almost no line outside, not sure how long it is inside…….. We rode 6 rides and sat for a quick lunch and just walked around the park for 4 hours, It was so hot we just sat for a while in a shady area and left before the storms started that evening. Although very hot we had a good time ,. If you go make sure you stay very hydrated. We drank a 30 oz bottle of water we brought with us ( we freeze and bring with us) and we also got a bottle of coke each and drank it right down.

I do agree with one main issue: COST

YES…… Don’t know how some people can go twice a month, unless they live near the parks or they’ have a high paying jobs.

Disney is supposed to be available and enjoyable for “Everyone”!

I had to save for at least 2 years to go to Disney World, just for myself, for my first visit, because I wanted to stay in a resort and enjoy as much as I could and buy a few souvenirs, and I had to eat. $1,800 dollars for just myself for 3 nights, 2 days, hopper passes, and a few souvenirs, and a character breakfast. That’s a lot of money!!
    * This didn’t even include plane tickets, because I drove.

I feel so sorry for families that struggle financially just to come see all the magical fun Disney has to offer.

I might come one more time, because of the…..

    MEGA COST 😭

You said it yourself you wanted to do something and saved for it but you are not entitled to do it. Why do people think they are entitled to go to Disney. You are not entitled to go on a vacation or do just whatever you want, no one is. Stop being a victim. If you want Disney or whatever do something about it, work harder, get a better job, improve yourself and your situation but stop complaining.

Very true! ‘Regular’ families work just as hard, just because they may not get paid as much doesn’t mean they don’t work equally, if not harder.

If you have a shorter wait time for the rides then park attendance is down, obviously. Extremely high costs and being nickelodeon and dimed for every little thing tarnishes the whole experience and becomes cost prohibited for a vast majority of the population. It is no longer for everyone it is for the higher paid income levels only. Then addressing the competition, Universal is a lot more exciting and Disney World is kind of old and tired. If DW continues to charge so much then they had better step up their game.

Totally wrong !! Universal is just as expensive and possibly more expensive it cost more to park the daily ticket rate is about the same and if you want to go to the different parks you have to pay for each park unlike Disney who has 4 parks which 1 annual pass gets you access all of them . The only thing Universal does better is they have a refillable mug which is about 16.00 and 8.00 refill which is good but other then that they are comparable and Disney has way more rides . I compare Univetsal to Six flags .

What ! You couldn’t be more wrong. A universal 5 day ticket to both parks is $244 right now, same 5 days at WDW is $528. You do not have to pay for each park separately and the food is more affordable as well as the hotels. We were there this year and paid $99 a nite, with breakfast and shuttle transportation every day.

We cannot visit safely without the DAS pass and disability accommodations my child has always qualified for previously.

Disney DAS issue is another reason. Disabled people are staying away or going to other theme parks. People have canceled trips and dvc trips and the European folks aren’t coming because of DAS.

I’m disabled and I’m not staying away from Disney. So, don’t play the disabled card
