If childless adults stop coming to Disney Resorts and Parks will the football star make up for the financial loss Disney will experience. I go with my adult children–it’s awesome–they can pay for themselves.
Walt Disney intended his parks for both young and old to enjoy. I’ve visited Disney parks before I had my child and many times since I’ve had him. We still love to go! Adults have as much right to be there as children.
Disney was designed for everyone. Adults like me and my husband who are retired love Disney and go all the time we are passholders. There is no place more magical to us. It is for everyone. Not just parents with children.
You make it sound like going on a vacation is a right or something, most of us have to work and save to do the things we want, especially the really nice stuff. Are you expecting a vacation without sacrifice? And then do what you can save to afford, if you can’t afford to go to Disney (and please don’t with the expensive rant, everything is expensive these days) then either save or do something else and be happy.
Disney is for all ages. You pay your money the same as anyone else. As for your NFL player, maybe a little magic might help him in his sport. Come on the Dolpins.
Wow… Maybe kids shouldn’t be allowed to watch football live… Since the players use foul language… I take my kids often and I would say most people there are families .. if u encountered someone without kids just move to a different area… NFL player worried about what goes on at Disney… C’mon man
CONKLING must have gotten hit in the head once too often.
I’m siding with the couple who would not move so an oh so entitled mother could dump her child on them. She didn’t want to hold her child but wanted complete strangers to do that? WTH? Then blaming THEM for not moving. Next time sweetheart, get there early & pick your spot.
Oh, & it’s none of Conkling’s business either.
When I was a child my family would come early and at the last minute mothers would push their children to n front of us and we would end up in back of them.
My husband and I go early so we can see because we are both under 5 ft 4 in. That being said, if a family comes last minute I will always let the kids stand in front of me as I can see over them. But the adults can stand behind me.
Disney makes 4 times the money appealing to family’s. A 30yr old group will walk by a light up bubble maker, gift shop, over priced food and souvenirs and buying fast passes(bc they don’t have kids waiting for 2hrs) but a family of 4 will most likely buy all of those things and some. So yea, a grown up may buy a 12$ beer, but it’s not like two 30$ bubble makers.
Disney adults may not buy 30.00 bubble makers but we will eat at Disney’s upscale restaurants and they cost way more than 30.00! Also my husband and I choose a viewing spot for parades/ fireworks early to get a good viewing spot. It is not my fault if you show up at last minute and expect a great view for your children. I am a small woman so it is usually hard for me to see over people because once the kids jump in front of you the parents usually follow.
That response is prob the problem that is going on at parks. You feel since you buy one expensive meal( their all expensive, and you have to buy at least 4 meals) and youve seen fireworks for as many times you want for 30 years, vs a kid who may get to see them once and have a great memory gowning up
So your argument is saying it’s her fault for planning ahead to be where she wants to be when she wants to be there and not the parents who fail to plan to be someplace for something they or their kids really want…you’re one of those everyone gets a trophy generation people aren’t you.
If only children and parents should be allowed then all rides, shows, and food should be suitable for toddlers. Tear down all rides that could possibly traumatize a 2 or under child. That means all rides except (and they are iffy) the carousel and the carousel of progress. Only Mac/cheese and plain milk will be allowed for food. No costumed characters as they scare some small children. So no shows. No sit down restaurants. No alcohol. No animals. What is left? An empty wasteland.
I enjoy going with my adult children and grand children now more than ever, engaging in conversation with how they felt then and how they feel now, it’s enlightening.
I don’t care what this rich self entitled player thinks or says! Disney is for all ages, period! I was there last month with my teen daughter for the first time since I was a kid and we had so much fun that we plan to go again next year and this rich stuck up man can’t tell us or any childless people or older people without kids or people with older kids that they can’t! I saw elderly couples there without children and they were going on rides together and having fun! You can’t take away someone’s fun because that’s discrimination against childless people and older people!!
Walt himself said, “Adults are kids just grown up” if Disney was only for kids, he would have never said that. So If thats hiw you feel, we should boycott the NFL.
Excuse you! My husband and I don’t have any children right now so you think you have the right to tell us where we can vacation? Keep your asinine opinions to yourself!

Disneyland is for everyone. Have you ever heard of discrimination based on whether or not you have children to visit Disneyland?

Who? Never heard of him and I live in Tampa. Couldn’t care less about what someone who makes a fortune playing a hobby has to say

Ageism stinks. More can’t afford to go until adulthood.
Steve
That’s right, we don’t all grow up with rich parents and can’t afford to go until we are older

Walt said it best. “To all that come to this happy place, welcome. Disneyland is your land.”

Adults that go ro Disney suffer from infantalism. They refuse to grow up.

Learn to live life and have fun

Wrong Disney was created for everyone to enjoy no matter what your age is.
