Lets correct a number of things here. First of all there are no “fresh” welds, if there was new welding the paint would be burned and show signs of heating that close to the weld. Second, the entire track was inspected as part of routine track inspections prior to testing the ride. The ride sat idle for nearly 2 months so it was a routine track inspection. Finally, the “scratches” and writing on the spike structure have been there since the Prestige Passholder preview event that I attended. They also show up in pictures I took on opening weekend.

Plant some exotic vines on it and make a really big topiary.

  3. Even before the tragic accident back in August 2021, this coaster was shut down more often than it was ever open and operating.

It is hard to imagine the park having problems with this ride for so long. Why couldn’t Zamperela forsee this problem? Now cp is paying the price. Maybe they need to retract the entire ride. Who knows…with only less than two months remaining in the season I can’t see it reopening this year. This is a huge blow to Zamperela btw…

Top Thrill 2 is NOT the world’s tallest strata coaster!
That title still belongs to Kingda Ka.
TT2 is the world’s tallest and fastest TRIPLE LAUNCH.
    Get it right.
