People posting asking for a boycott are only making the issue bigger on their own. I had no idea the character had any Israeli ties until this. A Black Widow turned agent for an American hero team says nothing about the ongoing conflict.
While it’s stated that she was a volunteer for her military in real life, none of us know her role (could have been medical) or the reason she joined (or was pushed to join).
Remember when we go to the movies, we are expected to forget the real world and suspend our expectations of reality. If you come in looking for real life connections, as soon as the Hulk or Cap show up, your going to be disappointed as they don’t really exist in our world.
Go enjoy the movie or skip it. But quit trying to ruin every movie for others.
Wow, thousands of innocent people are being murdered, starved and injured and you are upset that people are boycotting a movie that whitewashed oppression…perhaps it is your ignored conscience that is “ruining” your experience.
