BLUEY is a wonderful show! I hope it isn’t destroyed by people thinking it too dark! It teaches great life lessons. It makes us laugh and cry! Not too dark for this momma! We love it!!
I agree with Kim. I have 4 kids from 2-19. 2 boys and 2 girls. Bluey is the only non-woke, clean, family oriented cartoon both me, my wife, and our kids can watch and enjoy together. Yes, the show talks about some tough life moments, but does it is a child-relatable way that is not too “dark” or mature for younger kids. I think Millennials like it so much cause it reminds us of the good old 80’s and 90’s when we could say what we felt without worrying if we hurt a “woke” person’s feelings. I think people born after 2005 are just a softer generation who are too over emotional, and can’t deal with the real world. Disney has fallen into this idea and has suffered for it with movies like Strange World and Turning Red. I think Bluey gives us Millennials the voice to tell Disney and the world, “If it ain’t broke, stop trying to fix it”. And by that, I mean the traditional family unit. Bluey creators know that fundamental truth, hence their great success!
My family loves this show I don’t how you can trash a show that is for KIDS!!!! Stop acting a fool seriously there is so much too learn from this show. You could learn a thing or two from bluey honestly my kids have learned more from bluey more than any other kids show out there now
I’m a nanny for 2 toddlers and so I watch Bluey over and over and over again all day everyday and I love it. I also grew up with a rough childhood and a difficult home environment and I personally love how certain topics are handled. I cried during “The Sign” several times mainly to do with how Bluey was learning to go with the flow and that not all actions are good and bad. This is a concept I still struggle with myself. I even watch the show when I’m not at work and just home. I probably have most episodes memorized by now. Point is, I would be really frustrated if the writers had to apologize or change the show because some people are upset about some more mature themes. I completely believe in explaining things to children in an age appropriate way which the show does amazingly.
Ha ! They think Bluey is dark ,clearly these people weren’t born in the 80s and watched what us millennials watched as children our kids movies were dark. I don’t have kids, but I love watching Bluey most of the dark stuff is going to go over little kids heads ,obviously adults will understand the subtext but kids won’t.
No, I think Bluey is exactly what kids need. Life isn’t perfect, parents do their best, but there are times when life hurts. We use Bluey to discuss life a lot in my home, my daughter, husband, and I love the Heeler family!
