Its hard to say about the new Blade movie series. Maybe the demands of the study just can’t be met or understood, for the Blade reboot. In my opinion, Blade isn’t a Character that can exactly fit into the MCU universe. Blade is a stand alone type of character, fighting vampires that have adjusted to our times by controlling key people in high positions to do the footwork for them. Blade is doing the best he can to fight the vampires off though, by destryoying the Vampires key plans here and there. I just feel maybe the studios should focus on doing a new movie series of Blade, without the need to put him into the MCU universe. Blade does his own thing in his own universe, so you can’t water Blade down or change too many things about his past. If you want the new Blade series to work best, let Blade do his own thing in his own movie series, but (without) trying to conform Blade into a MCU universe type of character. Blade works best alone, with a few supporting characters and a gritty storyline. I like Wesley Snipes best as Blade, and i feel he understood that role and he could relate to it in a personal way. Plus, i think Snipes may have worked as a producer of the original Blade series back in the 90s, so he knows how to make Blade work on the screen and behind the screen.
“What do you think is causing so many problems with Blade”? Where to begin lol. Disney Execs for one and the continued cluelessness labeled as “Superhero Fatigue”. Deadpool vs Wolverine and the sheer volume of PRESALES shows that that is untrue. Marvel has forgotten who their fans are and Disney Execs haven’t a clue. Just saying that they felt Blade was easy money due to an existing fanbase is insulting to those Marvel fans who have weathered crap like The Marvels.
Disney brass are clueless as to how to approach the character because Disney pardon the pun doesn’t do dark characters/films. The vampires in the Blade universe are NOT family friendly in ANY way, shape or form
Like they say in show business. If it ain’t broken. Don’t fix it. Wesley Snipes has made Blade his own character. No offense to Mr. Ali. But, Wesley is Blade
I agree the fans of yesterday the fan base is wanting a return to the original way the trilogy of Blade was presented.
Although not ideal it is a r rated movie and that’s what’s made it exciting. Maybe dumb down the more macarbe content originaly presented in the blade triology. But still make it r rated and scary. Us fans
who grew up reading marvel comics know what we want regards marvel superhero s. And it’s not the tinkering of the power level of hero s like hulk. There was no body stronger in all the marvel.universe And please Sub Marinab was fare skinned and Asian looking not Indian.looking no prejudice. Intended. And even out of the water he had hulk level power. There was no way Suri s black panther had the fire pier to beat Nsmo
I agree snipes is the only man for the job but apparently on the 3rd film he was extremely awkward to work with. Late ,(if arriving at all). Often not in a fit state to work and a lot of the non-face shots had to be done be the body double. That’s maybe why he wasn’t chosen this time around?.
Wesley Snipes. He turned a fifth tier character into an A-lister. THREE films. Yes, there was some trouble during the third film, but he’s not that man anymore. You want Blade done right? Bring back the man that made Blade a household name and let him do his magic. No offense to Mr. Ali who is a brilliant actor.
The problem from day one Wesley Snipe should be playing that role know one else. He brought that franchise together he need that role to get back on top of his move career.

Snipes is Blade. No matter what. No one else can bring the cool dread like Blade.
