  1. I would say it’s for the best to preserve the innoncence and purity of children. Besides, This is for the majority’s own good. Woke culture’s already finished and branded as villains for life.

    1. On top of that, This is also for Disney’s own good as well.

    2. Steamboat Willie

Ah yes, We’re ruining children’s innocence by… Adding “Woke Culture” into a franchise that’s been insomniac since it’s inception in the 70s… In a franchise that’s not generally geared towards children (nor the company who owns it)
      Hmm…

      1. It’s high time to deliver the final blow to woke culture once and for all.

        1. Aunt Polly

If you truly want to protect the innocence and purity of children, then do that through parenting, not by complaining in comment forums about DEI initiatives in Hollywood. Woke culture isn’t going anywhere, nor should it. Only someone spewing vitriol from the bubble of an alt-right echo chamber believes that “woke” is a bad word. The movement won’t be stopped, so learn to coexist peacefully with it or else get over it.

          1. I’m not going to coexist with such poison peacefully neither will I get over it. Woke culture’s days are already numbered as it’s nothing more and nothing less than a disease as well as a problem.

Of course they’re branding LGBTQIAA+ as evil and doing us a disservice. This is horrible PR for our community.

  2. Mehr

Of course two black kids without a father. Woksters are the real racists here.

I am glad I have skipped every single woke POS from Disney since Endgame. My family is better off without their dangerous race and gender ideology.

  3. Pete Knight

Seriously … get a grip on reality!
This was about something mystical and mythical not a negative reflection of LGBT+ folks!

  4. John L. Raiser

“Equal Rights” means everyone gets to be the villain sometimes, you don’t get to selectively choose.

    1. at the cost of everyone’s moral compass and sanity? Not on my watch. also, equal rights would mean everyone gets to be the villain all the time not sometimes. I have a choice to make and saying no to woke culture is the correct course of action.

      1. Bert

Everyone? Don’t speak for me bigot.

        1. Yongma Lee

Then the Heavenly father will forever strip you from the chance of paradise.

          1. Spank You Very Much

As a proud embracer of the agnostic faith, I have no invisible daddy in the sky to fear and no concerns about my fate in the afterlife, because I haven’t poisoned my brain with fables from an ancient book. I also avoid the arrogance of organized religion because I’d rather be excluded for who I include than be included for who I exclude.

            Also, newsflash: Jesus was woke.

        2. Old Coastie

So, not one single LGBTQ+ has ever done one single thing wrong? They are all perfect? What kind of dream world do you live in?

  5. Common sense

Painted in a bad light? They don’t have to do that… the alphabet mafia does a great job of that already.

    1. which is why Woke culture is a menace.

  6. Aunt Polly

You can say no to woke culture all you want. It just means it will keep going without your involvement. Someone might just as well try saying no to Christmas. Let’s see how that works out for you.

    1. I can say no to woke culture while saying yes to christmas because I’m a presbyterian. Let’s see how far woke culture gets you when you wound up with nothing at the very end.

      1. Yongma Lee

not to mention it’s high time that everyone address the woke culture problem immediately.

        1. Aunt Polly

It’s already being addressed immediately…with more wokeness…and it’s going to keep expanding to the point where history textbooks will devote whole chapters to it in future.

As for religious customs, I was raised Presbyterian but then I grew up and became a critical thinker, so I say yes to fun Christmas traditions like Santa and Rudolph and gift-giving, because those things are secular and very cool.

I can’t wait to see how far woke culture gets me! Shall we place bets?

          1. We should and you’ll be on the losing side of the bet once I get start working in media production and such with my name on the debut as a rising star.

          2. Tim

Not a chance. Wokeness will be illegal to the point that the jails will be full with people like you and subjected to Bush/Cheney style Enhanced Interrogation/Room 101 rehab stamping the wokeness out of you. America will be great again and be back in the 1930s and 40s with the rebirth of The Greatest Generation.

          3. Aunt Polly

Yeah, okay, “Tim”… or should I say STEVE. Pick a name already. You’re not fooling anyone.

Yongma, I’ll be here munching popcorn and enjoying all the Sisyphean schadenfreude that results from your efforts.

          4. Tim

I don’t know what you’re talking about. But I look forward to Project 2025 being implemented to shut you up and wokeness being illegal.

          5. Aunt Polly

            Bahahahahahaha!

          6. Tim

You won’t be laughing when you end up deported.

          7. Aunt Polly

I’ll not only be laughing, along with the majority of the country, but gleefully wearing the color orange on July 11th, aka Sentencing Day, as we watch and celebrate the incarceration of an orange cult leader. Until then, I’ll be sporting rainbow colors on numerous bayou adventures, pausing only for the occasional bathroom break or new Acolyte episode.

          8. Aunt Polly

Looks like we exposed what makes Steve (and his alter ego Tim) tick: The orange cult mentality is strong with this one. Meanwhile, Yongma has disappeared under the covers to watch Sailor Moon cartoons.

Thankfully, the woke movement is more powerful than the small minority of Christian nationalists who want to threaten our democracy. “Steve/Tim” realizes this, even as he contemplates the next time-traveling fantasy rebuttal he’s going to rage-type on this tear-stained keyboard.

we are watching VERY different shows if this is your take… you do not the Jedi are the bad guy in this show right?

    1. I don’t see the Jedi as bad guys start to finish. Woke culture is nothing more and nothing less than a slave to the dark side of the force as well as slave to the devil.

  8. Dan Drangus

The alphabet folks can’t be villains? They have to be portrayed as 1000% righteous and selfless in all media? That’s not accurate. NO ONE is perfect. If anything, this should be a breath of fresh air to them, to show that they can be corrupted just like anyone else. I doubt someone on that spectrum will see this show and think “wait, does that mean I’m evil?” Of course not, it means you’re an intelligent being that has selfish wants and beliefs just like the rest of intelligent life across the galaxy.

    1. I wouldn’t say that. Jedi aren’t villains. Simply woke culture propaganda.

      1. The Real Youngma Lee

Well Jedi aren’t real so there’s that

        1. I know they’re fictional but you are a fake!!

  9. Resigned Sidekick

“This might not be the last time we see the coven, and more truth about their demise will undoubtedly be revealed in the episodes to come. However, depicting Aniseya and Korill as members of a Sith-like cult feels like a slap in the face to LGBTQ+ fans.”

Oh please, like you care about LGBTQ fans. The witches are NOT Sith, it obvious they use both light and dark side forces. You trying to force them in a rigid binary between good and evil says more about you than the show.

    1. The witches practice the dark side of the force. Thus they are sith like it or not!!
