I can get why they decided to do it (the ride was unpopular and, overseas, the Mickey Mouse Revue’s days were numbered) but why not put it elsewhere in Mexico? For example, you could’ve made an Animatronic Show/diner/Experience near by. That way, you’re not only keeping the ride safe and you have the IP integrated, but you also have a new offering at the Mexico pavilion.

It was much better before they added all the duck nonsense. It used to be a celebration of Mexico’s beauty and culture. That was enough.
