If you want to see Epcot the way it was–ride Soarin’. At the end of the Soarin’ attraction the film ends at Epcot and you can see how it was before. I prefer the way it was, this was a let down.
EPCOT needs more rides. With Test Track closed, it just highlights how little there is to do. There is no point showcasing technical innovation when the technology changes too quickly for the park to keep up with it.
Given the “education” Disney has been giving the public the past few years I’d rather have Mary Poppins. I’ve been to Epcot many times over the past 33 years and I’d rather be entertained, which Disney used to do better than anyone else, than see how plants are grown upside down, etc. Just my opinion.
