Iger is an idiot. I remember after Chapic you were cheering his return and now after firing thousands of people you’re all upset. He’s the worst of his kind. Just another corrupt corporate raider.
I feel the same way about Iger as I did when he 1st came to the company. He is a old hearted, corporate business man, and never was and never will be the right person to run the Disney Corporation. He lacks any sentiment, and feeling and any warmth. Those ae key ingredients to maintain the reputation that Disney had before he took over. Disney always realized that happy castmembers were productive castmembers. Iger’s philosophy is if one castmembers doesn’t work out, there are 100 waiting to take their place. Not a great feeling, especially when you were used to being appreciated. People complain about the change and decrease in the attitudes of castmembers… look no further than Bob Iger. I hope that Iger hasn’t taken Disney too far down that slippery slope, and the next CEO will return it to it’s former glory. Where workers were appreciated, the grounds, attractions and infrastructure is maintained and they focus back on what made them famous. Their own creations done bu real live human beings.
