So extremely disappointed i mean I understand about the pandemic and the strike but making everyone wait so long yes can be used as anticipation but also could be bad to thats a long time to wait and also characters are changing out thats huge these are the things that happen when there’s to much time between episodes me personally im really not interested in seeing the ending at this point its changed to much and won’t feel like the family unit anymore so really whats the sense bit thats just me
Fairly new to Netflix and noticing this is kind of a trend. The longer we wait the less we care. Why do you do this the strike was over the pandemic was over I mean they get busy. There should be more than another season coming. You’re losing your initial fans
But how could we know? Some of us just started watching Netflix not too long ago. Anyways what a disappointment. The pandemic is long gone the strike was long over I don’t understand.
As much as I absolutely love Stranger Things, I have had enough! The way Netflix keeps dragging out the launch was the nail in the coffin. I have dropped Netflix permanently. I no longer care what happens in season 5. To make loyal fans wait at least 3 years for the final season is bullcrap. I have a hard time believing the actors are willing to delay the careers and wait with the rest of us. I think the streaming services are struggling, and they think stringing customers along while they try to add to their bottom line is sad, and will lead to their demise. I LOVE the show, but I don’t NEED it. I’ll binge it in about 5 yrs when it’s on free TV. After all, Netflix has shown they think we’ll wait as long as they want us to for good programming.
Agree.. but honestly there’s been sequels to movies that don’t take this long to come out. Even Bridgeton has taken too long. I don’t know they keep blaming the strike but everything else seems to be moving along
I think it’s ridiculous. Just release the damn show already. It’s already been too long. I’m at the point of not caring how it ends. Might as well have been cancelled

Danny, you need a life, you commented on all but one comment with your opinion to let everyone know how you feel about something insignificant. You care far too much, if you’re actually waiting on a show to release it means you have nothing more exciting going on in your life.
My daughter was a die hard fan of S.T. now she is just over it! In 3 years now one will even remember this show…there will be bigger and better things on! People can only be strung along for so long and then they get clue. Everyone should boycott and refuse to watch it when it does come out… for a great while! They might learn something. Usually when they make you wait for so long and keep building something up as grand…it’s anything but that anyway!
I don’t understand if the duffers don’t want to proceed further with the show then why don’t they reveal it clearly to the audience about the shows cancellation cause it seems that they are playing the fool with us for the past 3 years since the 4 th season of the show commenced.I think we’ve waited long enough and within this time the minimal expectations were that the filming would be done by now .

We have waited so, so long. The longer we wait, the more I lose interest.

What a setback

This is exactly
why one should not start watching a streaming series until the final season has dropped.

Exactly!!!! I agree! Who would wait that long when it’ll be on TV shortly after, for free! It’s called a season for a reason Netflix!

Other shows have produced 2 or 3 seasons before ST5. Lost interest
