Early in the article you stated, “Mark Hamill first picked up the green lightsaber in Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope (1977)…” He in fact used a blue lightsaber for Ep. IV & V. It wasn’t until Ep. VI, Return of the Jedi that he has a green one. Seems.like a small detail but it is actually a pivotal part of the saga.
Anyway, yes I am excited to have Mark reprise his role as as Luke in an animated Lego special because Mark is a phenomenal vice actor so this will be a great merging of roles and talents he does best, plus a little Lego humor will make it extra special.
Like Tod said Luke didn’t use a green lightsaber until Return of the Jedi because Vader cut that hand off in cloud city of Bespin in the previous movie .But putting that aside the movie coming up in September has potential but if it is as good as the trailer it will be a new fan favorite just like Mandalorean and Boba Fett series have become. I am looking forward to Disney putting Obi-Wan our on DVD too
Isn’t that actually a reference to Jedi Bob, and not Luke? I hope that Mark Hamill returns for this film, but he isn’t featured in the trailer as far as I can tell
