This is horrific from a staff perspective. Being someone who used to work there I can tell you that they regularly oversell the park. This company has also been having issues retaining staff for years due to issues with low pay, literally the Tacobell right next door to this park pays better than what the dolphin trainers start at (13.5 for trainers, 16$ for Tbell)

There are numerous complaints from guests constantly noting how over crowded the park has become. you can find reviews on google from the day this poor girl drowned talking about how they didnt have enough staff to open the river, which resulted in the reef becoming over crowded and eventually resulting in guests being turned away from snorkeling because the reef was “over capacity”

Staff have been saying for years that something like this was going to happen, theyer constantly over selling and cannot maintain proper staffing. Their staffing has become so bad, they now offer “incentives” for their staff to stay through the summer because even their dolphin trainers dont want to stick around for their dream job.

this company needs to be held accountable for this. A child is dead and they had a huge part to play.
