This seems weird, but I also agree that it could end up a big step for the franchise. Think about it. Like how did the Republic get built and all that. It would be great to see things that happen before The Phantom Menace.

You could still have Yoda complaining for 300 years training Jedi have I.

If Disney hadn’t decanonized the EU, this wouldn’t be such a shocker. There is PLENTY of material that takes place thousands of years before Episode I.

The problem was none of that fit their narrative of inclusion basically we have to have non binary and gay jedi now. Not saying we can’t but when did that become the focus over good story telling that my problem the stories have gone to crap and they have ruin what Lucas made changing characteristics of sith and jedi that’s been around before most of these people writing this show were born

    Starwars is dead.

    Let it rest in peace

Leave star wars as is, call it the Skywalker saga

Then start fresh with a new but older star wars saga showcasing a Earlier character (like the Skywalkers) instead of a fall to the dark side showcase a jedi similar to Qui Gon who fell out of council favor but his way redeems himself to the order where he take a seat on the council and helps the jedi order become better then it was becoming

Know matter what Disney does to the greatest movie franchise in history, whether they make it better or destroy it… The force will be with you always!!!

So now episode 2 will be episode 1 en 3 episode 2 etc?

Seems a bit weird to me.
They just can’t stand we like the first 6 better and that won’t change.
They just can’t stop destroying the franchise can they..
