The Governor was right. If you are a protesters and you’re blocking the road and harming the passerby.,then you are in violation of the law. But a peaceful protesters are protected by first amendment. If it’s me driving by and somebody hit me with something. Am gonna blow your head off. My life or my families life or yours. I’ll prepare mine.No question ask.
Protesting is one of the most important parts of our constitution and should be protected by law enforcement. UNTIL you break the law doing it. Stopping traffic in an already busy roadway is not going to get people to join your cause. It’s just going to piss people off and have the opposite affect of what you are trying to do. Please protest and stand up for your beliefs! But do it legally. Otherwise, you will be shut down in 11 minutes or less. Our differences are what make our country so great.
But I will say to law enforcement, know your law that you are enforcing and remember that these are human beings and whether you agree with their politics or not, they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Please do your job correctly and carefully. At the end of the day, everyone needs to go home (or jail) safely.
A “peaceful protest” is exactly that, PEACEFUL! When a protest interferes with traffic, pedestrians, and commerce, it is no longer peaceful. You are then provoking others to become angry which is a far cry a “peaceful protest.” Just because some juristictions chose not to enforce the laws in the past doesn’t mean that there aren’t laws against protesting the way some do, now.
When ‘protesters’ become criminals they must be treated accordingly. And don’t tell me how many Palestinians are dead without FIRST telling me how many Israelis were killed by the cowardly Ham-Ass dreck.
I’m a US citizen / full time Florida resident and firmly believe in freedom of speech and reasonable protest for everyone. When anyone attempts to block a major highway, they are stepping way over that line. Thank GOD that no one was hurt including the protestors and anyone else, because that move was just plain stupid. Once that line was crossed, I commend the Florida PD for preventing a potential catastrophy and Ron’s support for the event. I hope the people that dreamed that up are held very accountable for their actions.
So sick of these idiots! College students acting like criminals everywhere! Where in hell is this country going? Now spreading out everywhere. After the Holocaust, how can anyone with a tiny lump of brain in their head call for the end to Jews!!
This is not protest, this is a crime! A new bunch of Nazis has come out in this country. God help us!
I am so sick of these clueless idiots. They step over the line so often but are not arrested. Throw a bunch of them in jail to see if that helps. No consequences for anyone anymore. I’m sick of this country, these people who are destroying it, and political DAs who no longer prosecute real crimes like these. God help us.
Freedom of speech or the right to protest does not exist on private property. As for bocking a roadway, there is no right to protest if the rights or safety of others is imperiled. They lose on both counts.

Disney World is Private Property. So having them removed is the same as having them removed from your own front yard. They are trespassing
