People complain too much. If you were clueless that this is how you maximize what you want to do on your vacation either choose somewhere else or figure it out and enjoy yourself.
It isn’t that they are clueless, they understand how it works; however, the point is you shouldn’t need to jump through these hoops while on vacation and I have to agree. Virtual queues should be made a thing of the past, except maybe for special events and the launch of limited edition merchandise. Individual lightning lanes should disappear completely and there needs to be a free form of fastpass that returns, maybe with a paid upgrade.
For example, offer Genie+ as it stands now for free, off two paid tiers, one that includes the rides that are currently Individual Lightning Lanes, but still limited to one per attraction per day and a higher tier that not only includes those, but also the ability to reride the same attraction multiple times. This would strike a good balance, bring in a decent revenue stream and reduce the amount of people that have to rely on the DAS option.
