Why would they tear down Typhoon Lagoon? That waterpark is WAAY better than Blizzard Beach. Besides, Disney has plenty of land. They don’t need to tear down a Typhoon Lagoon.

    1) Typhoon was the most popular water park in the world in 2022 (the last year metrics were compiled), and it has been one of the Top 2 for the past decade (Only Chimelong in China has had higher numbers, pre-covid). Even when brand new, Blizzard, Aquatica, and Volcano Bay haven’t had more attendance than Typhoon!
    2) Typhoon provides Disney with significant after-hours opportunities (Public/Private surfing, H20glow nights, DVC moonlight magic, group park rentals).
    3) Disney uses Scenario for construction regularly, including recently at Typhoon
    4) Typhoon sits on a smaller plot of land than Blizzard, and it is completely surrounded by highway. There is way more room to build a major theme park where Blizzard is located.
