Hes going to go another 3 billion in debt if he keeps going woke .the woke comunity is designed to destroy companies like his from the inside .woke is ran by comunist companies through a third party

    1. Marvin

      Idiots assemble!

      1. Cary

I can’t believe his going to take away Pirates of the Caribbean is one of everyone favorite ride he better listen to the public I am disappointed

        1. Victoria S Reed

Pirates of the Caribbean is tradition. So was Space Mountain. Sure add new attractions but people love the old ones for the memories. Don’t take that away.

      2. Mike Reed

He’s got to go , and fast

    2. Steamboat Willie

Uh actually, “woke” is run by minorities and socialist companies, not communist companies.☝️

      1. Steamboat Willie

Also, it’s not woke that’s “killing” these companies. It’s a combination of poor corporate choices, capitalism and the “Anti-Wokes” word for thought 🙃

        1. Ed

No, it’s all this woke crap that’s destroying everything. I’m sorry but it is what it is and if you don’t like it move to another country. You may not survive, but at least you can try to shove your ideas down someone else’s throats.

          1. LoFo

            Truth

          2. Steamboat Willie

Canada and Germany would like to have a word with you.

Countries like Japan are also becoming (albeit slowly) more progressive and “woke”

          3. Nah Shis

Radical extremism and hysterical ‘woke” rants prove just how idiotic a person really is.

          4. edwin

            I agree with Ed

        2. Louise Theabo

I can only speak for Disney World. However if you believe that park is a ghost town then I must say you are very wrong.

      2. Walt

um – same thing. a socialist is just a communist lite stepping stone on the way to authoritarian control. Have you been oblivious to the World Economic Forums mantra “You will own nothing and be happy”? Look it up. They want to restrict your movement, your income your consumption – every aspect of your life because THEY know better. Little Bob is just a willing fly speck in their plans.

      3. S

You already destroyed splash mountains music in the ride now you want to take away haunted Mansion and pirates my favorite rides you’re going to destroy Disneyland and I’m not going to come back anymore maybe we should get rid of Bob

        1. S

Why doesn’t Disney get rid of Bob or let him quit resign he doesn’t like Disneyland anymore than that take away Haunted Mansion and Pirates and I’m gone

    3. Johan

You need more tin for your hat

      1. 🤗😂👍

    4. Laura B

Uh huh. He’s crying inside as he counts his money from the millions who go to the parks daily. They keep reaching capacity and closing entrances they are so busy.

      1. Brianna

Not for long. Parents used to also be excited about paying thousands to go to Disney. He’s missing out on generations wanting to share the same experiences with their kid. I’m not paying thousands to go see a stupid ongoing marketing campaign.

        1. Christy

If He does away with Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion, I will never again step foot in Disneyland parks or purchase another Disney product. PERIOD!

          1. Tink

Did you actually read the article?

          2. Mike

I’m with you on that one!

          3. S

I’m with you enough is enough leave it like it is if you want to add new rides fine but leave the ones that are iconic alone

      2. Ryan

Those parks are definitely NOT ghost towns! I’ve been to the parks 19 times since Christmas. Believe me….. they are busy.

    5. Jessica

Disney land needs to wake up before they go down. Don’t they realize they are out of touch with their audiences. Woke agendas changing the stories we know and love. We escape our lives to go to imagination and wonder and adventure not constantly changing what we love but enjoying the classics and those adventures that are new. Stop trying to redo re write and change everything. Pirates and Haunted Mansion are classics that should never been changed. Updated sure but changed no. Leave our stories be. Go woke go broke Disney thought you would have learned. Adding commercials changing our shows now after the magic of Disney land and the classics that Walt created and why they are magical.

      1. Jamie Stradeski

        I agree! 100%

      2. Nah Shis

Really? You can’t even spell “Disneyland.” My god. No one should ever listen to anything you have to say. Why are the people on the far right so woefully duhhhhhhmb?

        1. Walt

Really – the right is dumb? Look at the statistics poindexter – the right is the most educated on what is going on – and the LEFT is the herd of sheep that believe every line of BS from the powers that be. You ignorant comment just illustrates that. Here’s an idea – learn something not fed to you by some tik tok influencer or Hollywood/political elite.

        2. James

Yeah, if you hate Republicans so much, re-elect the worst president in history!

      3. dzneefan

Amen! I am so tired of having to spend time do these virtual lines only to have these rides break down time and time again. Leave us with the tried and true! Update maybe – but leave them be!

        1. Dawn

Agree! Keep the traditions Walt planned for Disney, simple and fun. Just make sure they are running efficiently to handle the crowds you want to cram in there!

      4. Amanda

Those rides have already been changed multiple times. Even when Walt was alive. Know what you’re talking about. Walt was pro proress. Pro science. Pro moving forward. He would not of liked any of you ppl.

        1. The haunted Mansion was last thing that Mr Disney had worked on before he died Mr iger needs to go he’s changing everything about what the park stands for

          1. S

I’m with you Bob needs to go leave our special rides alone memories from childhood I still love every single second on every single ride leave them the way they are

      5. TeeCee

        Agree

    6. LoFo

Just stating a fact here, if he gets rid of Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, for whatever dipstick reason ANY OF YOU come up with, Everyone can say goodbye to Disneyland. Hate to break it to you but those are two of their most memorable attractions for MOST people! PERIOD.

      1. Nah Shis

Just stating a fact here: That’s not what was said at all. No new lands without an existing IP! Hate to break it to you but you are without any reading comprehension whatsoever.

        1. He needs to look at the people who are going to the parks dance with the one that brought you

        2. Pancho Duro

I was thinking the same thing. Did these people even read?

        3. Frozen Waltlt

They have limited space in the parks. Implementing new attractions (IP or not) probably means taking over existing rides.

          1. Pikkurtooker

Some of the parks, like Disneyland do have restricted area. Disney World in Florida has a TON of land though. It is approximately TWICE the size of Manhattan Island (New York City) with more than half of it still undeveloped.

          2. Christy

            NOT THOSE TWO!!

        4. Tink

Thank you! Glad someone finally pointed that out.

    7. Davidhhh

No one cares about your radical extremism. The parks are attracting record crowds and making record profits.

      1. Nah Shis

        You tell ’em., Davidhhh!

    8. Grow ip

Only ignorant conservatives use the word “woke”.

    9. Nah Shis

You cant even spell ‘communist.” Typical far right, fox news brainwashed knuckle dragger.

    10. Nah Shis

      Keep watching Newsmax, silly maroon.

    11. Nah Shis

“comunist” comunity” When you’re so duhhhhhhhhhmb that spellcheck won’t even help your sorry rear end.

    12. Amanda

Here’s the woke garbage. Have you been to any other the other Disney’s outside of the US? Especially in Japan and China their rides are better. Have you seen their Pirates? It’s amazing. Walt Disney himself was a fan of progress and moving forward. Plenty of rides came and went while Walt was alive.

    13. cliff stoddard

Exactly. He doesn’t get it. People didn’t stop going to the theme parks or watching Disney plus because the attractions were old. They stopped because Disney got too political and the park admissions cost too much. Who wants to spend 150 dollars per person to stand in line for two hours for each ride.

    14. Rk

He’s an idiot, he and Kennedy are running Disney into the ground. Yea base new content on failed IP, makes sense to me, lol. Sad to say, Disney is no longer a tradition we can count on from past memories that we can share with our children, they have lost the family values.

    15. Daniel

Disneyland Shanghai has the best Pirates ofnthe Caribbean ride. Or so it looks anyway. Just add another ride to the area with that same ride next to the original. It will be a big hit. Or better yet make a Disney land in Texas. Please and thanks.

    16. C

I thought he was brought back because the woke trajectory they had headed in was losing them money! This is a joke.

  2. My first thought, that’s not a good move..Second, I’m ready to sell my shares. Some of us like the nostalgic part of Disney to share with our kids and grand-children. Too many changes. Something to be said for keeping up with the times but don’t change the core.

    1. SCD

Totally agree! Would be a total shame to get rid of the Haunted Mansion and Pirates! I am 56 and a Floridian, whom has been coming to the park since being a kid. I always purchase annual passes, however, if this happens, I will no longer visit the park and obviously would not purchase passes for us and our grandchildren.

      1. Laura B

Did you guys read the story or just the headlines? He’s not getting rid of either ride

      2. Nah Shis

Can anyone here READ and UNDERSTAND what the story says? Unbelievable.

      3. S

I’m with you I won’t ever step foot in Disneyland again if you get rid of pirates and haunted Mansion

    2. You’re absolutely correct.

      1. Anon

Bob Iger and Disney are so potty of touch with the world and what families want… Instead they are trying to cater to the fringe, loud, woke elements and we all know – go woke, go broke. Like Bud Light already did and soon to be Frito Lay and Doritos who are going all in with demonic deviant pedophiles as spokespeople and Rainbow chips.

      2. When I think of Disney, besides Mickey Mouse, the first things that come to mind are The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean…the 2 most iconic rides…just saying.

    3. Nah Shis

Woke woke woke…. stop crying 24/7. waaaah waaaah waaaaaah…

  3. Ed

The disney magic is long gone.
Walt Disney dream of his park is being destroyed little by little.
The new disney is all about the money and not the magic.
Now when you go to disney for a family of 4 it could cost you at least 500.00 depending on when you go .
That is just tickets and parking no food .
Then the genie plus up charge of 15.00 and hugh demand rides of another charge that has been as high of 39.00.
The prices of disney have gotten insane , your paying more and getting less.
    What’s next?

    1. Iger please get disney stock back over 175.00 per share so l can dump at what l paid for it ? This new Disney is not Walts . Hope you woke population supports it like older people and their families supported Walt Disney !!!

      1. Nah Shis

Woke woke woke…. you people are beyond ridiculous. waaaah waaaah waaaaaah…

  4. Tom McGrew

Don’t get rid of Pirates, or Haunted Mansion, these two classics are phenomenal! As a DVC member for 20 years we love them!

    1. Laura

Agreed. I haven’t been there is many many years, and between the outrageous prices, doing away with beloved rides and just the self centered childish attitudes of people nowadays, I will find somewhere else to go with my family to make memories… it’s really sad.

    2. Johan

If you read past the headline you would know that’s not happening

    3. Ed

Why should we utilize Woke? Despite the success of Disney parks, their profitability is being hampered by the decline in demand for their movies and Disney +. They rely on revenue from these attractions to sustain their other businesses.

  5. Michael

Why do people continue to cater to few of woke people? If you don’t like the ride don’t go on it,now see how easey that is.

    1. Nah Shis

You can’t even spell “EASY” Why cater to a bunch of hysterical clowns with one digit IQs, who serve no purpose for society anyway?

    2. Nah Shis

Learn how to compose a sentence, proper punctuation, and how to spell. smh

      1. AG

We have a great example to follow that can’t even say a full sentence without screwing up. Our “so called” President.
His latest speech in PA he actually said “if you put me back in Congress”. He doesn’t even know he’s President.
If you want to be woke that;s fine but don’t shove it down peoples throats

      2. She

You are a hoot! All you have is to poke fun at misspelled words? That’s because you have nothing true or substantial to add to the conversation . That’s what idiots like you do when you have no excuse for the WOKE culture that is trying to destroy a once great product.

  6. Cliff

I agree somewhat with both Nsncy and Ed. Having visited WDW with my wife as newlyweds in 1972, going twice last year with the grandkids, and visiting more than a few times over the 51 years
i between, nostalgia is an important factor in my enjoying the parks. With that said, many of the more nostalgic attractions are overly tired to the point that they are sad reflections of their past glory. Either revamp, retire or replace them with something that future generations may find nostalgic.
Given the number of attractions in this category, and the huge lines to go through them, it is abundantly clear that what was once Walt’s Company is now satisfied to bilk their current visitors, giving them far less for their $150 per person per day expenditure than my wife and I received for the $3.50 cost for ticket books back in 1972. Add in the exorbitant cost for food and drinks and the cost to visit for one day can easily top $200 per person. That is not what Mr. Disney wanted for his wife and daughters.

  7. Chris

I’m a nostalgic person, but this is a double edged sword. My family goes every couple years and my 10 year old daughter couldn’t give a rip about the nostalgia for my wife and I with splash mountain or song of the South. Tiana’s Bayou resonates with her though. Does it pain little me that still lives inside that things like this are going away? Yes. But, maybe instead of being a selfish adult trying to desperately share my memories I and we should let it kids make the same memories with things that resonate to them.

    1. Nah Shis

“Iger highlighted the remarkable financial success of the parks, underlining their critical role in the company’s overall profitability. He pointed to record attendance and revenue across most parks, with Disney World being the sole exception”

Many families and large companies no longer want to visit or do business in Florida. “Whining about everything being “woke” banning books and discrimination against various groups is why Disney World is underperforming! We are those families, and one of those companies. Unlike the far right people and politicians that are costing Florida countless billions in lost tourism revenue, we actually have the means and money to go elsewhere. And we do. Florida might as well be on the moon. Far fewer people from the West Coast (and elsewhere) wants to visit there anymore.

  8. Tom

I feel the Magic Kingdom should remain magical. It is the most visited park filled with things for kids and adults alike. Proof in the pudding is the long wait for Peter Pans ride is a classic. Stick to your core business where this particular theme park is concerned and that is wholesome family entertainment. Remember GE strayed from its core businesses when it went into the financial businesses. Today no longer in the DOW and a completely different company from its glory days. Company standards may have fallen but when you compare it to the other Orlando park you still see a glimmer of quality. Hope they keep their eyes on the road. The road to success.

  9. Erik

It is absurd to phase it as discontinue pirates of the Caribbean attractions. That is firmly IP, didn’t start that way obviously, but it is now IP. One of the most successful in history. Haunted mansion is too, albeit an unsuccessful one. Both exist at every Disney park on the planet. Each different. If another international park was ever built in the future they would be built there too. Igers statement mearly meant that there wouldn’t be a new original concept that wasn’t based on current IP. All that means is no new autotopias, no more astro spinner things, Literally nothing that needs a new backstory.
Every existing original ride that came from day one is IP. I think people misunderstand what IP is. Intellectual Property is literally everything they have created across all mediums and platforms. Not just animated movies. It includes everything, all the way down to patents and trademarks. Everything ever created, including the IP acquired through acquisition.
All the focus on IP just means they will pull from existing stories going forward.
There is certainly enough of that to keeps them busy for a long time.
It is easier for them to introduce new attractions in Japan where they have no ownership stake, Hong Kong 53% and China 43% because they don’t have to pay for it. They get paid to build them with others picking up either all of the costs, Japan, or most HK and China. It is in their various operating agreements.

  10. Kitty >^!^

I like a mix of original and movie themes. What disappointed me was tying a lot of the formerly educational attractions to movies and “dumbing” them down like the “Seas” attraction and attractions about the human body and how we get our food. This also happened on the Countries side of Epcot. When the kids were little we spent a majority of our time in the MK. I looked forward to sharing the more science and cultural based ones as they got older. By then it was too late and we all missed the benefits those older attractions had to offer. We lost a great opportunity to make more serious subject matter fun without dumbing down the message.

First went to WDW in Feb ’73’ as a teen.

  11. A

Are you fricken kidding me?! He wants to get rid of Pirates?!! Pirates is my favorite ride of all time, the best ride and a staple in all the parks. Iger needs to be removed immediatly, he is ruining Disney in every way, D+ sucks the movies suck now and now he wants to wreck the parks too, how bad does it have to get for him to ousted?! Unbelievable!

    1. KL

No he doesn’t want to get rid of the rides. He just stated that they wouldn’t be making new rides based on no existing film/show etc. Which HM and POTC were created before a movie was based on them. The article title is misleading, to draw the anti-woke crowd in to reading it and going crazy. Makes perfect sense to use the existing library to make new lands and rides vs making a ride theme based on no existing movie, in hope people love it. These days people would just complain that they spent all this money expanding and instead of a Cars land or Frozen land or whatever, they made a fictitious land based on nothing anyone knows.

  12. No vision at all, ask ax. Put a ax in his hand cause he’s cut everything. You add-on to the rides. You have now tie the stories into each othis tutor doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing second time too pathetic. Also, that is all set with Disney. Work definitely. Yes, saw the Real Disney bunch of b******* When the old man and the 9 angry men leave the situation. Now you’re gonna be dealing with data collectors. Sad day

  13. Marijane

I think focusing only on IPs is a bad idea. Some of these rides especially Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion are considered classics and are loved by fans. Walt Disney himself liked making both types of attractions and encouraged innovation and imagination not money. Would rather rides and places both original an IP based be worked on like it was back when Walt was alive. Bring the Disney back to Disney people!

  14. Rinconchuck

Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water!

  15. Jon Whisley

I’m done with Bob Iger’s Disney. The parks are too expensive, the movies and shows are trash, the magic is dead. He and his has raped and destroyed Disney.

  16. Chris B

First, this isn’t a new concept. Many classic Disneyland rides were/are based on IPs. Snow White, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Cinderella’s carousel, 20 Thousand Leagues, Mr. Toad, etc. Some were/are based on proven genres. Pirates, the old West (BTMRR & the trains), space travel (Astro Orbiter and Space Mountain), etc.

It sounds like Iger is looking for the “quick score” by using IP to dress up a ride and make it popular. Unfortunately, this didn’t work for Galaxy’s Edge.

If he “really” wants to do this, the best concept is to make the change exclusive to a particular park. Don’t duplicate Avatar in Disneyland, leave it exclusive to WDW. Instead, tear out Galaxy’s Edge in WDW and replace it with a different Star Wars theme. If he wants to update Pirates, do it in one park and leave the classic in another. This way fans have a reason to visit both/all.

Another way to do it is to intertwine the IP and classic themes. For instance, turn Galaxy’s Edge into a Mandalorian theme based on the first season of the show, and connect it to Frontierland, where they can highlight the feel of the real American West in the 19th Century.

Another example is to mix the excitement of Space X and the Artemis programs with the thrill of Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy (like in Epcot where real space travel is next to Marvel fiction).

Bottom line, what we need is another Walt Disney and Michael Isner. Say what you want about either; they were visionaries that used the full weight of imagination to inspire and motivate people. They were true visionaries of entertainment. Iger’s career is littered with no real imagination, instead leveraging the imagination of others (e.g. IP).

  17. Bryce Cahill

Sadly nothing igor does surprises me anymore. I kinda stopped caring about Disney after they did away with splash mountain because splash mountain was the ride I made one of my favorite memories with my now deceased older brother. He tried getting on splash mountain first but I beat him to it. After we got off splash mountain I figured out pretty quickly why he wanted to get on first. I was perfectly dry, but my brother was absolutely soaked.

    1. Agree. No imagination. That’s another reason the movies aren’t doing well. That’s why he is using previous movies for any new rides/attractions. Too many just playing games or on social media on their phones. Online games have guns and killing. Kids don’t play outdoors or know how to pretend and imagine.

  18. Anita Evansns

Maybe they should change all the higher up and get creative heads in there. They made a big mistake with Johnny and now everything is going downhill.

  19. I’ve had all of Disney I can stand. I find nothing admirable about Disney’s “new and different.” I like the original Disney and I will never go back now that they’ve seen fit to change it all.

  20. Daniel

Iger is a complete dumbass nobody cares about the modern properties that disney has avator is a complete garbage of a movie and frozen is stupid and boring

  21. David

Walt would have fired your butt a long time. You’ve ruined one of the best brands ever.

  22. Cid

No longer a fan of Disney. Walt wanted families to enjoy the parks. He was more about bringing joy and smiles to people young and old. Iger has lost lost focus on the idea of bringing fantasy to life. Imploding Pirates, Haunted Mansion and other staples is so very sad. Next goodbye to Dumbo, Tinkerbell, Snow White, Bambi and all the rest of Walt’s imagineers creations. Next he’ll dump Mackey and Minnie! Pitiful

  23. Casi

If they are going to continue to obliterate my childhood (the reason I still go). Then they will continue to loose my business

  24. LV

He is not wanting to get rid of these classic rides, he wanting to do away with how they were conceived as original ideas not tied to any existing IP. All new lands and rides will be tied directly to the IP they are a part of. They’ve already changed POTC to kinda integrate with the film franchise, and redone the HM film 2xs. The true creativity, magic, and imagination of Disney died when Michael Eisner was at the helm. Bob Eiger was on the road to restore the magic, but when you start seeing your paycheck getting bigger and bigger, you lose sight of where you’re supposed to be going. And when a business gets involved in politics…. well,.. that’s when companies die. Wouldn’t it be great if Walt walked through those corporate doors?

    1. Steve

Well that’s not going to happen. And after my takeover, I will usher in the Make Disney Great Again where anything new will not be tied to any IP unless I decide it fits the land and fits my tastes. I’m more than happy to leave billions on the table and say “No” to fans of IPs that want them in the parks. I can confirm as someone who was able to ride Pirates on its 75th anniversary that it has been restored to its pre-movie glory.

    2. Steve

Well that’s not going to happen and after my takeover I will make Disney great again by having not allowing any new attractions based on any IP unless I decide they fit the land and my tastes. I won’t be afraid to say “No” to those that want IP and risk leaving billions on the table. The merchandising and synergy model implemented under Paul Pressler will be going away. I can also confirm as someone who rode Pirates for its 75th in 2042 that it will be restored to its pre-movie glory.

  25. Niko

What’s everyone panicking about? It doesn’t seem that bad. It sounds like they’re updating the park with new attractions based on successful properties. If it means that older attractions had to go, then so be it. Also, where was this level of anger when Big Thunder Mountain was retooled due to its ties to Song of the South?

  26. Winnie the pooh

Walt is rolling over in his grave. He never wanted his parks to be greedy , woke money grabs. He wanted ALL families to enjoy his parks , you have to be rich to go to disney in Florida and stay a week. Plus the service is poor now. The outsourcing of the cleaning staff if that’s what happened was horrible.

  27. Brianna

So basically, Disney World will no longer give a reason to be excited. He really ruined Disney for children.

If you aren’t making rides with the thought of bringing joy into children’s hearts, then you don’t understand why Disney captivated the world at all. This man doesn’t love children.

  28. Brad

He’s killing Disney period… Walt and Roy are rolling in their graves.

  29. Set God

“Ride the movies” what a concept! As an ex designer at Imagineering I can’t think of anything more more boring to do than copy scenes from movies all day.

  30. James Jennerich

Bob Iger is destroying Disney World. I have been to Disney World Florida 8 times now I loved the 1st 7 times.
My family & I went October 2023 & it was horrible. I don’t think I would ever go back.

  31. Janet Woodhead

Well, that solidifies my decision to never return to a Disney park or venue. Pirate’s of the Caribbean was my favorite ride at Disneyland and the place I always went to immediately through the gate. I went back and forth between this and the Haunted Mansion repeatedly most of the time. Disney has changed, and definitely not for the better IMHO.

  32. Rhonda Frost

I’m done with Disney. Disney used to care about what people wanted. Here’s to your vendetta with Johnny Depp costing your company a ton of money. We are on his side.

  33. ABLyne

Hard to believe that Haunted Mansion & Pirates of the Caribbean are yanked off the lot & replaced by cartoons! Picture looks a bit like our politics…

Bob’s wife wants to re-imagine him into 25 year old stud too I’m sure but we know that’s not happening! Leave WALT’S LEGACY ALONE! For pete sakes.

  35. Why not just bull doze disney and end the pain. I beèn going to Disney parks. Since 1966 , remove Haunted Mansion , and Pirates there will be no reason to take my grandkids. Honest to be the Ceo has gone woke, why has their been lines at these two rides because people love them . Parks and not as packed now days because they are over priced , why all the lay offs .
Lower the prices and pack the parks again.

  36. Julita

    What’s next the castle?
We want Disneyland and Disney World to be the way Walt created it. It was built for families! You’re removing iconic rides that mean something to even the younger generation and generations to come. Soon you won’t even call it DisneyWorld!!

  37. M

I don’t think I want to go if a few of the iconic rides are gone. I love Pirates and Haunted has always been my favorite since I was a kid. I’m going in September with my boyfriend as adults without children, he’s never been to a theme park. I’m looking forward to him experiencing these rides. It might be my last time going to Disney. I’ve never been to Universal Studios Orlando so I’ll go there instead.

  38. Sunshine

Do not change the iconic rides pirates and haunted Mansion are two of the best nostalgic rides at Disney. So much so they carried it to all the other parks throughout the world. Why people have to feel like they have to change things because of a small group of people is beyond me. The updates from the pirates of the Caribbean movies was perfect Do things like that but don’t get rid of the magic that Walt originally created.

  39. Michael

I think you are mixing the history of pirates with that of the haunted mansion …

  40. Warrior Fish

He can’t change Disneyland without Casandra Lee Mandeville. She is the true CEO of Disneyland.
He knows better than that. That’s why they keep fighting and reminding him, that Casandra Lee Mandeville is the actual owner

  41. Disgusted Prior Fan

Removing POC and or HM would ensure I will never return to Disney. It will be a thing of the past.

  42. Janee Parker

Bob Iger sucks and is sucking all the fun out of out of Disney Parks. Does this guy even know anything about Disney. He’s gotta go be ruining the best rides there and I will not go to Disney if those are taken out. Bob Iger is being ignorant!!! He needs to leave those two rides alone seriously, first picking on the handicapped and now this. Kiss my ass.

  43. Kc

Nonono! Stop taking away the things we want out kids and grandkids to experience with us. Ugh. Stop with the woke crap.

  44. Joe

It’s obvious that Disney has been taken over by the ultra left and throwing their woke ideology down our throats Disney has to go back to making entertainment instead of instilling politics into the entertainment

  45. TeeCee

Wow! It saddens me to read this. Pirates and Haunted Mansion are iconic. Update Tomorrowland and lose the eye sore rocket. Transform Tom Sawyer island. Update the carnival rides like Small World, Mr Toads, etc. I guess the castle is next on the hit list?

  46. Anthony

Disney is dead to me. This woke agenda is going to have the parks close permanently. And if they take away the last few rides Walt envisioned it simply won’t be Disney anymore

  47. Bonnie

If you get rid of all the old rides that makes Disneyland it won’t be the same. Count me out!

  48. Mer

    I love Pirates!! I think it’s a HUGE mistake!!

  49. Julianne

That is insane to rid Disneyland and Disney World of those well loved and iconic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. Those rides are what makes Disneyland what it is, a place to go for kids and even adults, to get away from drudgery of life, a stress reliever. What a bunch of crap to hear about this.

  50. Hawke

Can they get rid of this guy?

  51. Leave it alone. That’s memories for some of us . You have plenty of land to expand!! Discovery Island That’s sitting empty.

  52. David

Don’t do it, it’s not worth it
