It’s pretty obvious why the secrecy. He’s got nothing. Iger has no major plans for expansion and isn’t even putting money into maintaining what is there. He’s just hoping that Disney can float through on its declining reputation while he milks it for all it’s worth before retiring to live the life of luxury. Projects that the company just finished are already breaking down because he isn’t investing the money to do quality work, but he can pay himself millions. It’s telling of where the money is going when attractions that were built in the 70s are still going strong while attractions that were opened just last year are already falling apart. To survive Universal’s Epic Universe opening, Disney’s board should immediately terminate Iger and all senior executive leadership in the parks and replace them with people who have some kind of clue, otherwise Disney is going to be in big trouble when EU opens its gates.

I wholeheartedly agree that Iger and his lousy executive team should be shown the door. He has actually diminished the park experience from what it was 10-15 years ago. He has cut things that were once included or monetized them. Also, the resorts he has built are boring, bland towers with no theme.
