I wonder if corporate docked that performer a day’s pay for dying on the job. The way Disney treats their workers, it wouldn’t surprise me if they did.
My guess is Disney will soon charge their cast members to park… sorry 5 bucks to park if you want to go to work… then about 6 months it will be up to 15 or 20… here’s a crazy idea… crowds are low, maybe lower the pricing a little… doesn’t have to be crazy… but make it affordable for people
What does this have to do with an animatronic failing majorly? Seems you’re just using this to (not a big surprise, another complainer) to just slander Disney and their prices, when it has no bearing to the story.
This is just another reason to not attend a Disney park. Besides being completely over priced and out of the budgets of many families now employees are dying on the job. The mouse has no limits, boundaries or morals.
You DO realize that they were talking about an “animatronic” not an actual person right? How about reading a story before making a comment that is embarrassing?
Did you actually read the story? The title is (deliberately, I’m sure) misleading to imply that an actual person passed away when it was just one of the mechanical critters malfunctioning.
Not sure where you get your “information” from, but you’re sounding like all the other Disney “haters” that frequent this site. Disney does declare deaths when relevant to the necessary parties. The general public are not necessary. The general real public doesn’t need to be privy to information like that, which doesn’t concern them or their family directly. Use some sense and understand these things.
I heard a loud boom from Hollywood studios, how big was the animatronic? Or maybe that was the Indiana Jones show I heard. Anyway, prayers sent to the person and the family. I will make sure I send Disney world flowers.
We were rushed out of the lion king in the middle of the show because a customer had a heart issue and they had to jump their heart to get it started again. Unfortunately we were only there for a half day so we missed the other half of the show. My mom completely understands but that was the one show she really wanted to see. That was my parents one and done trip. We had a great time besides a few hiccups.
Disney no longer is the magic kingdom. It’s become the “woke” kingdom and I’ve been a fan since 1974. I’ll NEVER go back as Disney caters to 2% of the population by changing things we’ve enjoyed.
And just how is this relevant to a story about an animatronic failing? Sorry that you find this to be your personal complain-and-slander section, but you’re not going back because of “changing this or that” has nothing to do with what this story is about. Don’t go back, no one really cares
You know, it actually is kind of related considering they mentioned that they are changing this attraction. And they’re not going back because they’re changing so much. Just because you don’t wanna hear it doesn’t mean it’s not related.
Again, someone missed the point. This isn’t about how things are changing, this was about the story itself saying a “performer” died on stage. Whether this person hates how things changed or not and will never go back, it pertains nothing to this particular story.
Is that clear enough to understand now? Seriously, you people need to stop trying to find hatred toward Disney and commenters, trying to find any reason to slander. Jeez, grow up people. You’re not 12 year olds.
As for.your “just because you don’t want to hear it” comment, I never stated I didn’t want to hear it, just again, it’s not really relevant to the story, and who cares? They don’t want to go back, they don’t go back. Don’t look to make a.”bad guy” out of a commenter saying facts that YOU don’t like, in that same regard. Thanks
At disneyland paris, the phantom manor just… wasn’t working. We were all in the portrait room (forgot what it’s called), so a cast member escorted us out through the backrooms.
I sure hope nobody actually saw in person what happened on July 8, 1974 to 18-year-old Deborah Gail Stone, a new Disney employee who had just graduated from Santa Ana High School – working inside the D-Land America Sings attraction.
Poor liver-lips. A victim to the woke agenda. Sorry they had to retool the entire park because 13% of the population was offended. Probably more like 40% since liberals are offended by everything.
Once Trump wins the election to pedo Joe, they are going to have to remove his animatronic to erase history and as to not offend liberals. They will be protesting that again I suspect.

Pun intended??

Wait, what inappropriate language? I thought it was a fun show, and it didn’t take itself so seriously.
Renee cryer
That is what I was thinking also. It didn’t talk about the cast member that passed away. Disrespectful.
Joey
Omg, go back to school already. Jeez.
Jade VR
They didn’t donk the ANIMATRONIC pay, as they do t get paid… Did you.avtually read the story?
Stephanie
Did you even read the article? It was an animatronic that came undone. 🙄
Rosemarie DGinto
So, it was the animated bear that malfunctioned on the final performance day. I’ll refrain from writing what I thought of the story.
Lorenzo

Not mention I thought a person dies not a DAMN stuffed animated bear 😠😠😠😠😠

Alli
It was not a person it was a robot bear did you actually read it?
Rose
It wasn’t a real person – a mechanical bear malfunction was what “died”.
Pooch Alert
It’s painfully obvious that many of these commenters did not read the story.
Stephanie
I was thinking the same thing. 🤦♀️
Steamboat Willie
The fact people don’t realize that this “cast member” was a bear 💀
Leslie Brown
Animatronic bear stopped working… NO ONE DIED!!!!!
Erwim
That makes sense cause Disney doesn’t delare deaths.

Don’t bother. You’re wasting your braincells in doing that for them, as NO ONE died. The animatronic won’t appreciate the gesture.

Oh I am so terribly sorry that those that waited in line all day had to miss the show. Yes, that’s sarcasm.

Thanks to desantis heat protections for workers is gone. The RnC really do hate the working class.

Shame on you for headlining that an actual person DIES, then go on to say it was an animatronic malfunction. You suck.
Joey
The bear is a performer though. Does it receive no attention. Animatronics lives matter too you know.

Disney is full of purple-haired weirdo woke warriors and the place absolutely sucks. And it smells like burnt Vaseline for some strange reason.

Long lines and disappointment. Welcome to Disney.
