Top thrill 2 is not the worlds tallest and fastest strata coaster and cedar fair did not build kingda ka, six flags did.

If you read the story, it say the world’s tallest triple launch strata coaster

  2. Why is kinga kah mentioned under the Cedar Fair umbrella?
K.K is an Six Flags great adventure attraction. Which IS the tallest coaster in the USA

Well in case you weren’t watching the news, Six Flags and Cedar Fair are about to merge. Everyone knows that Kingda Ka the tallest coaster. If you read the story, it mentions TT2 as the tallest triple launch coaster. Now back to why it is mentioned. Since the companies have merged, Cedar Fair, the majority owner, is looking at ways to enhance Kingda Ka in the future. Either something similar to TT2 or something different. See, if we learn to read the entire story and know a bit about theme parks we might understand why things are written.

They have not merged yet so the comment is nonsensical, Cedar Fair has nothing to do with Kingda Ka. If you are going to correct people, do your homework first.

Nobody is concerned about rollbacks…ever!. In fact, as a rider, you pray for a rollback on this coaster. Why? Because you get to ride twice without getting back in line. There is no safety issue. The ride is designed to handle a rollback. You even get a rollback now that the ride was redesigned. This is all just a fluff piece. Nobody is concerned.

TT2 is supposed to roll back on first launch. That’s what the giant truss is for behind the start, for the roll back. The video on this article is not really appropriate either- the coaster car is empty. Of course if it’s run without people there’s a higher chance of going all the way over instead. Did no one read or watch the tests with actual people on it?
