  1. It is not going away. They are just making it harder. Shame on them for making it easy to scam them a year ago. They were giving these passes to people with IBS and ADHD.

Pay no attention to this basement dwelling troll with very low self-esteem.

For the people who are truly disabled they cannot and should not be kept out because of their disability !!

  3. Steve

No one is keeping anyone out you just need to stand in line like the rest of us.

      What if you can’t?

  4. Where is a disability law in California you should all public facilities must accommodate for disabled maybe it’s so difficult for a disabled person is absolutely wrong there will be many lawsuit regards to this I’m sure if someone has a handicap placard or license plate with paper to back it up and they show proof of Ivory and the paperwork that’s on the DMV there’s no reason why they cannot only that

    1. I agree if I show my handicapped paperwork that should due it used to. Both me and my husband (a disabled veteran) have ptsd and other health issues which make das a necessity. I was going to get the highest pass but with these changes being made I will have to not renew my pass and go to a park that can accommodate us. This makes me very depressed because I am a die hard Disney addict.

Good go somewhere else, can’t stand in line because of ptsd? Give me a break

Maybe its time they make a disability day a few times a year just for people with special needs or a certain time of a day a few hours before or after the park opens or closes for just special needs and their families…sad what’s happened…

Bad move Disney….saying developmental issues are the only disability that Disney will now grant DAS passes to is insane. If I didn’t have my DAS pass the last time I went, I would not have been able to do much of anything. This will end up biting them in the backside…..

This is an insane change. I have MS and use a walker to hobble along. I can’t sit in the sun or I relapse. I’m only able to stand for about 5 minutes. I’ve been a diehard Disney fan for 50+ years. Disney is illegally discriminating against people with physical disabilities. I think a class action suit about this is warranted. I can’t believe I’ll never be able to go to Disneyland again. I think my fandom is coming to an end. I’ll always love Mickey tho.

I have MS and did not see anywhere in this article that says it will make it hard for us to continue to get these passes. I do appreciate them trying to regulate this though as it has gotten out of control that anyone with a scooter or a cast thinks they need a pass.
