Tokyo doesn’t have to go with the same Tiana theme as the American parks. A Winnie the Pooh theme could work. There’s a waterfall in one of the Pooh stories, as I recall. Heck, get all “blue sky” on it and make it a combined adventure featuring a bunch of Japanese faves: Duffy the Bear, Hello Kitty and Sailor Moon on a camping trip that goes awry. Merchandise inspired by that concept would be epic and highly collectible, I’m sure.
The reason why Iger wants Splash re-themed in Tokyo is because the Tiana re-theme is absolute crap. Disney doesn’t want people to compare and people in the US will get even more angry what they lost. Bring back Splash Mountain.
Tokyo Disney doesn’t have to listen to Disney. Woke Disney sucks and has lost a lot of fans. Disney will never get another dollar from my pocket. I would rather visit real locations around the world instead was if make believe Disney crap.
