No one should ever, ever, ever be fired or “released” from their job or contract based on online rumors. No one should ever be fired or released for a supposed criminal offense unless that person has been found guilty in a court of law. Furthermore, if online persons make false accusations, they should be taken to court, sued, imprisoned, and barred from social media for a certain number of years. If after that the person repeats the crime of false accusations, a second, longer prison sentence should be issued and that person barred from social media for life. But shame on everyone who participates in spreading social “gossip” without proof. Each person who re-posts unproven gossip is just as guilty of ruining an innocent person’s life as the original lier. I think there should be temporary bans on social media users who spread gossip–enforced by the social media companies–to stop this abuse from repeating itself. And Netflix should be ashamed of itself–and sued by the actor in this particular case.

The problem is most people nowadays. Make you sign an agreement that you will be fired if you embarrass the company. Being accused is all it takes

  2. Unbelievably unfair ….SHAME ON NETFLIX!!

First I would like to say I was part of the justice system for 13 years & I DO NOT Condone any VIOLENCE towards anyone. Wether it’s physical, sexual or verbal there is no need for it. Now that that’s out of the way both here in Australia & there in America there is a “little thing” INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY so while I can understand a company wanting to distance themselves from an actual guilty abuser but the reason a person is innocent until proven guilty is because people also lie & some people even like to spread rumours about people to mess with them because they find it funny but when it’s found out to be false it makes it harder for true victims to come forward so those who make false claims hurt more than the person they accuse so they need to think about that before putting in false claims. Now while I wasn’t there & I’m not in America so I’ll never be on a jury there his innocence or guilt is not for me to say all I can say is that until he is found guilty he should’ve never been fired because if he is innocent which from what I’ve read it seem like he is it encourages those who give false claims to do it again as they don’t have to prove it & also punishes the innocence & now themselves because with him gone without any proof Jenna leaving in protest for her friend which is her prerogative to do so & good on her having friends like her that stick by you no matter what are amazing friends showing just how awesome she is as everyone needs friends like that so now with him and her gone especially her Wednesday will lose millions of viewers around the world including me as Jenna was prefect as Wednesday so it will not be the same with out her. I also hope that companies learned from this & not fire anyone before they are found guilty.

  6. Netflix made the Adam’s family completely wrong..Good on Jenna for realizing how stupid they were for doing that.. Gomez and Morticia for example.. would be erotically excited about being in danger, and seeing someone die/in pain.. not crying and blubbering over it.. and those boys attracted to her? Were both creeps..yuk.. couldn’t finish it..glad she left, she has her head on straight..unlike the woke

Bruiting is a verb, not an adjective. Brooding is the word the author was looking for.

Percy shouldn’t have been fired. I wasn’t a fan of the romantic aspect of the show, but Xander was a great character. How are they going to write him out of the story?

I’m all for believing the victim, but anonymous tweets should not be taken seriously. The new movie with Jenna and Percy sounds good.

When my kids were little, we watched every episode of Stuck in the Middle. Jenna’s career is well-deserved.

Er his name on the show was Xavier. Not Xander.

If he is innocent he can file a civil suit for defamation. He can now prove that the alleged false statements damaged him due to the loss of the Netflix gig.
A defamation suit requires injury due to the statements made about him. If Netflix did nothing he would have no standing, hence no way to sue.

  9. Can “bruiting” please be changed to “prolific”? It means the same thing, obviously, but most people wouldn’t have to Google it. I’m speaking in both a personal and professional capacity.

My god if ever there was an obvious AI written piece this is it.
Barely readable at times, did no one proof read this?
