On Friday, another raging fire terrified Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park guests three days after a blaze shut down the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park.

On Tuesday, a rogue firework ignited some brush near the railroad tracks during Happily Ever After. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and worked overnight to clean up charred plant life. Disney cast members took until noon on Wednesday to ensure the Walt Disney World Railroad track was unaffected by the blaze.

Another inferno impacted Walt Disney World Resort guests hours before the Magic Kingdom fire. I-4 East shut down on Tuesday morning around 7:20 a.m. following a fire. A semi-truck allegedly overturned while driving down one of the most popular routes to the Central Florida Disney parks. Rope-dropping and early breakfast reservations weren’t in the cards for hundreds of Disney Parks guests.

A similar incident impacted Disney Parks guests in February. Another vehicular fire shut down a major highway in Orange County, even closer to Walt Disney World Resort than this week’s semi-truck accident.

On Friday afternoon, another small blaze broke out in front of the entrance to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. According to WDWNT, the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (formerly Reedy Creek) fire department arrived quickly to extinguish the blaze. Disney cast members said that parking tram services were suspended as emergency crews worked to secure the area.

Disney security rushed guests away from the scene, but u/LilliaBaltimore on Reddit captured this photo of the latest Walt Disney World fire burning:

Walt Disney World Resort didn’t publicize a known cause of the April 5 fire at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Witnesses said some greenery and plant life were charred, but no other damage was visible. Tram services are presumed to have been restored by the time this article was published.

If an emergency arises during your Walt Disney World Resort visit, don’t panic. Listen to and follow Disney cast members’ instructions and evacuate the area if possible. If first responders are needed, assign a specific person in your group to call 911 and calmly provide as much information as possible.
