    Another April Fools Joke !?

    1. Nadine

No, afraid not. This was written for people who work on farms, outdoor construction jobs, etc. It is just rubbing it in by applying it to Disney. Guess the Gop wants to ruin a vacation by having characters getting heat related illnesses in front of kiddies while in already hot costumes.

    2. W. G. Smith

What does Governor do? Think up ways to make things hard on people. This is too much, it seems like Disney hurt his feelings and he hasn’t gotten over it. He will sign it!

  2. Phil

If this is true they should vote in a new governor!!!

    1. EXACTLY ! Enough is enough

    2. Oh it’s true I live here and this guy is just a nut case . We live in Florida and we have to drink a lot of water otherwise you get sick. What a stupid thing to even suggest, but that Disgusting Governor we have What a looser. Would he deny his kids water? I think not

      1. Hoosier Mama

DeSantis is a petty, vindictive authoritarian wanna-be. Floridians deserve better.

  3. Randall

Did you read the Bill, it requires all businesses to follow Federal OSHA standards.

    1. Polly

He is truly an a$$. Why deny people the right to stay hydrated??? This is absurd.

Really get a clue! This was April Fools. You obviously need to wake up!
Immediately going to Hate is what is wrong with this country!

        1. Nadine

To help needed: Time to wake up. This is true.

      2. Tommy

Only a MORON 👿 demoncrat with no sense of humor would actually think that De Santis would prevent someone from drinking water 💦 clearly we can thank the education system for gross ignorance

    2. Ginny

Do OSHA standards require the provision of water to folks who work outside? Schedules for hourly workers? Municipalities to pay no more than what the state allows?

Nope, nope and nope. If those issues are addressed at all, it’s by the Department of Labor.

      1. Marie

And they also have to follow those rules. So…..I guess there is no problem….right?

    3. Marie

No one reads anything. Those on the left just believe everything they are spoon fed, including all of the lies. I’m not a huge DeSantis fan, but I’m sick of these clowns spreading so many lies. They need to look in their own backyards and at the clown at Pennsylvania Ave .

  4. This is ridiculous, has to be a joke

  5. Lori P

Even if this were true, which it isn’t, it would not effect WDW. The Union contract sets much of that and can’t be overridden by a new law.

  6. Chris

Disney can make their own laws😂 they can give breaks whenever they want . This isn’t not on tbe Governor. Silly artical

  7. Chris

    Fast fingers..
☆this is not on the Governor .
    This is a silly artical

    1. Aztecace

Actually the legislature has made it law that no government agency may require a business to give their employees a water break, same as Texas, OSHA has no hard rule about water breaks.

    2. Help needed

This was April 1st so… do you really think it was true? April Fools!

    3. Nadine

      This is true.

  8. Alicia

This site is the only one reporting on this. Please look into the info before reporting on it

      April Fools!

      1. Yvonne

It’s not though. Look it up.

  9. Diane

Seriously people! If this were true it would be all over the news. Cast members would’ve heard about it. I received not one notification from a panicked CM. Outdoor CMs always have water bottles attached to their hips. It’s part of our costume.

    1. Help needed

Exactly 💯 please people wake up

  10. Cathy J Trent

He is lower than whale dung. Put him in the sun with no breaks and water and watch how he reacts. I pray he is digging a very deep hole of which we never hear of him again.

April Fools! Don’t let the Hate live in your head.

      1. Nadine

        It’s true! It’s true!!

        1. Linda

What’s actually true is that DeSantis hasn’t signed it yet, so everyone should put on their big person panties and wait to see.

  11. Steve

This thing is what people voted for you get whatcha get

    1. Help needed

      April Fools! Wake up!

  12. I agree. Who the heck does he think he is. I would not live there free. I didn’t know he was another Hitler. God Bless those poor people 😞😞😞

  13. What a nitwit

    1. Help needed

April Fools did you really think this was true?
      Who is the nitwit

  14. Help needed

April Fools! Don’t let the Hate live in your head.

  15. Alix Brown

Help needed. It was passed March 8. That employers do not need to consider extreme heat as a need to allow water breaks or any other methods to help workers avoid heat stroke. Great law for a state with recent record breaking heat. He just gets more vile

  16. The Natives

Be a whole lot cooler if he just arrested all Disney employees for pedophilia. That’s what they support. It only seems fair.

    1. Yvonne

Wow. Does your arm hurt after that reach? All the cast members were so friendly during my last trip. They go out of their way to make every guest feel special and heard. Many senior citizens working at the shops and ticket areas.

  17. Bardo

After reading the article and then all the *gasp* comments that followed, it’s no wonder that imbeciles like Biden and Newsome get elected into office. I would laugh if only the future of my country was not at a great risk.

  18. Oh my Lord, Ron must be so jealous that Trump is getting all the attention so he needed a bill to start an uprising.

  19. Chas

I worked outside in 96 or higher temperatures on OSHA regulated jobs in Fla.
The humidity is brutal but I never took the lazy way out and called in sick.
I ride a bicycle on the highway in 95-96 degree weather in the Summer in Fla, with even more magnified heat radiating up from the blacktop.
I deal with it by putting a penny in my mouth so that I salivate.
Roofers in Fla are accustomed to doing this all the time without complaint .
I spent plenty of time working on rooves.
I wonder if someone who sits behind a desk in air conditioning somewhere is imagining themselves subjected to actually having to deal with the environment as has been done in Fla for centuries, and is making a stink about it.
