  1. What is controversial about this ride? They already took out the pirates chasing women which I thought was stupid. Of course, pirates would chase women. Doesn’t mean they catch them. I adore this ride. I think the pirate boats fighting in the beginning could be updated and dramatized more. I love the real actors mingling with the animatronics. They should do this full time. I bet ren Faire lovers would do this for a free ticket in the park. They would spend the cost of a ticket on food and drinks. I know a few people already that would do it. .

Seriously…this is 2024… this ride debuted in 60/70s….let’s change history for the behalf of new era? Tear down statues etc…new people…learn from past history!!! Don’t destroy!!!

Why does Disney keep making changes to The Pirates Of The Caribbean? The ride was just fine the way it was! Look, I have nothing against adding a Johnny Depp animatronic to this ride, but why try to change history by removing parts of the ride, such as pirates chasing women? Things like that really happened in those days, and making changes to this ride, just so a bunch of radical Left-wingers won’t get their widdle feewings hurt, is just plain stupid!

The only thing that makes this “controversial” is someone got butt-hurt about something they didn’t like and made a loud noise about it. Disney heard that someone and ignored the thousands of others who disagreed with someone. It’s what the new Disney does.
