Iger needed a quick fix to allow him to satisfy his customers and investors. Therefore, he did what was required to move the company towards it’s current goals (which is what a good leader does). Also, he understands that Desantis days are numbered and will not be an issue in a few years. Disney will eventually get what it wants (without expensive lawsuits) , because everyone (except team Desantis) in FL understands what would happen to them if Disney ever pulled out.
Good news the fight is over between Walt Disney World and the State of Florida. The winner’s are “We the people!” We’re all winners for the good of our company and for the good of the State of Florida. Two good men have come into agreement, settling their disputes in a civil manner. Now, Walt Disney World, and the State of Florida can move forward into the future together.
The skies are the limit…No turning back now. If only DC could embrace democracy and work together for the good of “We the People.”
Great Governor. Great state. Hopefully Disney moves forward with great family entertainment. Enough of the woke (by the way woke means your using DEI idealogy in everything regardless of a profitable outcome). Ignore the activists and concentrate on the customers that keep your profits coming in.

The fact that Disney didn’t drop the appeal of the federal lawsuit makes me think they still might actually pursue it rather than just put it on hold.
