It’s not “progress” unless your implying the “progress” is to eradicate any memory of what Walt Disney deliberately ever created and included in his parks – and replace it with woke rubbish. they could have re-imagined this area sure – but that would require creativity – which has long ago disappeared in favor of ideology.

      Except, that’s literally progress?

The dictionary defines progress as, and I quote, “advance or develop toward a better, more complete, or more modern state.”

Also, I vaguely remember Walt saying “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” There’s also the oft-repeated WDI slogan: “Disneyland is not a museum.”

Also, things change, it’s natural for time to march on.

Exactly. As for clinging to the mantra of “What would Walt do?”, his company is already doing that. Constant change was a fundamental part of Walt’s ethos, so they honor his legacy by updating old attractions, even the classic ones.

The “Fueher of Disney” Steve will probably come and spew the comments with BS of how in 2055 “Disney will be anti woke” or something

Of course he will. He can’t help himself. We can always rely on Steve for some delusional, unhinged rant that takes us on yet another “word salad” flight of fancy. I’m sure it’s a coping mechanism, because real change can be vey scary sometimes.

            *very (Heh.)

I speak the truth and part of my job is policing the Disney fandom and keeping out the undesirables like you. It’s called gatekeeping. John Hench and X Atencio helped made me the judge. There is no Beyond Big Thunder happening, Frontierland is not going anywhere, and these rumors are fake news. Everything I say is true and yes in 2055 Disney will be mine and the parks will not welcome anyone woke . It will also be against the law to be woke. You don’t have freedom of speech. Some voices are meant to be silenced. I’ll have you know The idea of Disneyland never being complete died with him. There is no imagination left in the world. It’s all over. The parks were completed in the 1990s and Disneyland proper was completed after 40 years with Indiana Jones. When I take over, that quote is going away in the dumpster where it belongs to be with “Make Disney Great Again” and you can basically forget about anything new being built unless I feel like it. Walt actually said “Disneyland will sometimes be a fair, an exhibition, a playground, a community center and a MUSEUM OF LIVING FACTS.” Sorry but yes Disneyland IS a museum. That argument otherwise is a strawman made up to shut down debate.

I’ll have you know that I speak the truth and part of my job is policing the Disney fandom to keep out you undesirables. It’s called gatekeeping. John Hench and X Atencio deputized me. There is no Beyond Big Thunder happening, Frontierland is not going anywhere and by 2055 Disney will be mine and not welcome anyone deemed “woke.” It will also be illegal in the US to be woke. I’ll also have you know that the idea of the parks never being finished died with Walt. There is no imagination left in the world. It’s over. The parks were finished in the 1990s and Disneyland proper was finished after 40 years with Indiana Jones. When I take over, that quote is going in the dustbin of history to be replaced with “Make Disney Great Again” and you can essentially forget about any more new attractions unless I feel like it. Mostly bringing back old things. Sorry but Walt actually did say Disneyland was a museum, too.

Yup, we called it, didn’t we, Willie? We know Steve better than he knows himself. He’s amusingly predictable, but it’s fun to push his buttons, because he makes it so easy.

          6. Steamboat Willie

He even sound like German Leader from 1930’s to 1945…

Also, aren’t John and X dead, lol?

          7. Steamboat Willie

I mean what’s next? He’s also the president of the world?
Disney had to sell off all of its most profitable assets?
Walt Disney’s “To all who come to this happy place” speech is now erased permanently?
Women are now supposed to have… Appeal in movies and real life?

          8. Steve

Oh be quiet Steamboat C#nt and that goes for you too K#ntaloosh. You realize I have family in Congress and outrank you? You know what I’m going to do to keep you animals out of Disney? Keep a registry of eligible guests and require everyone to pass a Bar Exam. And you want to know how I know what’s going to happen in 2055? Time travel is real and we have ways of speaking to people in the past.

          9. Kungaloosh

Adorable. Look how he keeps proving us right with every comment. He even resorted to childish name-calling at one point, because – I’ll say it again – buttons easily pushed. *munches popcorn and smirks*
