It’s amazing they can’t figure it out. They make all that money, and just to dumb. Stop with the woke crap, nobody wants to see it but you dumbasses.
Please wake up, with the cast of avengers basically gone, I just don’t care to watch anymore.

  2. Mike Fields

I was an MCU faithful from Ironman through Endgame. When they started the Multi-verse, it got real confusing real quick, and when t hey merged the television shows with the movies it got too confusing to keep up. If you missed an episode frim the series, certain connective scenes in the movies, didn’t make sense. Now I enjoy the Marvel Presents series. (Loki, Falcon& The Winter Soldier etc.) But I don’t like being manipulated into getting a subscription to Disney Plus just so that the MCU would make sense.

    1. John doe

When the women took over, it went bad.

      1. Falcon

        So sexist. Congrats.

  3. Dc

It’s not running out of steam they’re making too many movies about characters that people have lost interest in. Just u wait for Deadpool to prove my point

    1. John doe

When the women took over, it went bad.

      1. Falcon

So sexist.. you had to post this on more than one comment. Way to be!

    2. Kingblood

I think them making contnent about characters nobody cares about is the problem. For sure. Nobody asked for an echo series. Also i think they should cancel young avengers, its gonna bomb

    3. Unknown

No ones lost interest in deadpool. What you chatting

  4. Obi-Wan

Psh. He will show up. And they will make him disappear this time. Stick him in the quantum realm. The people who think they don’t have these people under contracts already. I’m sure he can talk his part down to a smaller one. But he will be there.

    1. Harry

Your naivety is embarrassing. For one, contracts are broken all the time. And someone like Michael Douglas can easily find a way out. His lawyer will find a loophole. 2nd, He doesn’t need it and just like he says nor does he want it. At 79 he’s already got everything an actor could want. Good for him for being tired of all this Marvel nonsense. Marvel is lame. It has been for a while now. Douglas is better off without it.

  5. Alan

It’s the old Disney trick of using an IP to death. Look what they did to the Star
Wars franchise. It’s about quantity, not quality. They want to bleed these franchises for all their worth

    1. Roger

In the beginning of the MCU, it was fine. Later it seemed like the MCU lost its autonomy. Everything was dependent on what the fans wanted. The Marvel WORLD was\is interesting because the heroes and villains have always been relatable……flawed, human. There have been plots and sub-plots that always kept you going….. The skrulls never should have been introduced without their related history to the F. F. !!! Why hasn’t Henry Pyms life with the Avengers been talked about. How about the Hulk and Ricky Barnes?
anyway!! Nuff Said!! Bring back T’ Challa with another great actor. Introduce the Sub-Mariner when he was fighting the F.F. Quit panning to the audience and make good stories and let the audience figure it out for themselves……..

  6. Shelby Johnson

Unfortunately, when Endgame ended Tony Starks character, Captain America basically retires, and Black Widow dies that is alot of endings in a single movie. It made the movie feel like an actual ending. I was so upset at the death of Tony Stark. I understand that all plots and stories must have an ending, but I thought there would at least be 1 more movie with Tony, Pepper and Lil Stark “Morgan”. Being a fan of the franchise since the beginning the last movie just left me feeling sad and lost in the MCU Universe. It just felt like they weren’t planning on continuing the story. When a main, beloved character is killed off it loses the glue that keeps the collection of characters and stories together. Every movie after, is a disappointment without them.

    1. Tobey

      True beyond belief

  7. Charles

Disney is messing eveything up with it’s woke messaging. I will not watch the MCU or Star Wars anymore

    1. Movie-Loover

Yep, same. Them going woke and putting an agenda, literally ended them, whatever their intentions were, they lost the fire, no they lost everything, that Stan Lee ever created, I’ve been saying this for awhile and I will say it again: When you make a universe of storytelling, that’s what people want to be a hero or a villain facing an impossible situation and eventually overcoming it and they step into to that and forgetting who/what is going on in their own personal life, they feel seen connected, but more then that they forget, they can be someone or something else if it’s only for a few minutes, when Iron Man first movie came, and he was surrounded by reporters that one important scene, I felt the wanting to know who Iron man was, I felt like an reporter in that scene.
      Do storytelling, not agenda/woke.
Also just prove literally everything about the phrase: Go Woke, go Broke.

      1. Ant

Spot on. Disney shot themselves in the foot and it serves them right.

  8. Eric Chism

Disney refuses to listen to their audience. They don’t care about writing and telling great stories. They want to push their woke ideology in every single project. And every division is crashing and burning. Their stock has went down almost 10 points since Iger kept Nelson Peltz off of the board two weeks ago. Jenna Ortega has also dropped out of multiple Disney projects. The MCU ended with Endgame. Disney has killed Marvel, they have killed Pixar, they have killed Star Wars, they have killed Disney animation. All to shove the woke DEI ideology in people’s faces.

    1. Movie-Lover

      Go woke, Go broke.
People don’t care about them, we want go storytellers/writers.

  9. Zaphod

End Game ended the MCU. In attempting to reinvent the franchise they latched on to pour characters, lousy stories and embraced political messaging many fans weren’t interested in. I watched and loved every instalment from Ironman to Endgame, but now just wouldn’t waste my money. Like Star Wars … the magic has gone.

  10. Deedee

Does leaving comments do anything? We have not found a successful forum to post our issues as fans. Disney doesn’t care what we have to say. The MCU is next to impossible to keep track of for a die hard fan. Imagine how the rest of them feel. Kids are so confused now. My parents wanted to watch a film. They were confused. I told them that had to watch the ones that came before, they said were up for the idea but wanted to catch up. That took a list of about 16 films. They looked up the cannon lists online. They were caught up, bit still confused. The fact that we have to search for lists to find out what actually preceded a film, is getting ridiculous. I liked quantumania, and I was happy to still follow the little Easter eggs and twists… I did not like having to explain it to the people I watched it with.

  11. Suguler

I think Rudd, Olsen, and Hemsworth aren’t coming back.

  12. r

here here . they fell afoul with the go woke go broke way of doing things . surely they didn’t think catering to a very very small minority of cry babies was going to give the superb results in the box offices lol idoit fell on thier own soprd

    1. Parker

AND NOW THEY WILL DO IT TO DAREDEVIL AND DR WHO.
Dr Who a show thats been around decades, and they are messing with the characters backstories. I love Tennant, I love Smith. But bringing them back , is NOT the way to go forward. There are so many people I can think of for that roleSean Pertwee for one. Jack Bannon for another,Colin O’Donohue, Robert Carlyle, and on and on. Although my favs were the first two. Too much wokeness. Wake up Disney. Woke aint watching, they are out doing woke things and dont watch episodics!

  13. Carlos Lamus

All the people that are stating the MCU went Woke as the reason it’s failing is so full of nonsense. Stan Lee was all about inclusiveness. Stan’s Soapbox is proof enough of that. That was back in the 60s and 70s. Marvel was talking about real issues when it mattered. All you people that think all this Woke material is the reason for failure simply don’t know the History of Marvel comics.

    1. Jon

Thank you someone who is a true fan of Marvel Comics.

    2. Kevin

Evidently you are referring to the characters that appeared in one page of one comic.

Being woke has killed the M-She-U.

The Fantastic Four is the next failure.

    3. Movie-Lovers

That may be true, Stan Lee created Marvel but I think the point we are people are trying to make is that if you push any narrative/ agenda it’s going to go south either way, people want storytelling they want something different from their current reality/world that’s one of the few reasons why Disney is dying. I personally don’t know to much about the comic books but I do understand that if you make anything, it hopefully comes from creativity not agenda.

  14. I’m here for the “woke” complaints. The people who think the world should only identify and cater to them. So they reject everything and use hot topic terms like “woke” “DEI”….

  15. Exactly, and in the process people are getting sick to their stomachs of having marvel stuffed down their throats. It’s like coming home and eating the same thing every night for dinner, eventually you’ll get so sick of it that the very sight of it will make you want to puke. At this point I don’t care for Marvel’s movies one bit.

  16. Marvel needs to stop firing and killing off good actors who was great,it was no reason to kill RDJ and scarlet jo ,and firing Johnathan major was stupid, people personal lives have nothing to do with how they do there jobs thats why Marvel is having problems.

  17. Dawjr

Someone at the MCU should listen to Michael Douglas if he wants out let him go even if it means losing the character Hank Pym, but give his way out meaning as Ironman, Black widow, or even Captain America retiring. We lost a great actor who played the Black Panther.
Let’s not keep dragging the story if Hank Pym does leave make it a great story and Hank Pym doing one last thing to protect the ones he loves.

  18. Kevin

The M-She-U is dead. Changing the sex and race of characters was a very stupid idea. The reason the earlier movies worked is they picked actors that ware close to the original characters. Plus the writing was a 1000 percent better. My wife liked the earlier movies for the actors and I liked them due to the stories. Now I will not waste money on a film that has to check the woke boxes and she has no desire to see what the M-She-U has turned into.

  19. As a loyal comicbook collector and reader, I think the stories and characters are there just waiting to be brought to life. I think the MCU need to stop playing around with characters and stories that comic fans really don’t care about and stick to the script, ( simply meaning) STOP CHANGING THE STORIES and CHARACTERS WE LOVE!!
The original stories and characters touched us, and when you toy with the recipe, you create something new with the old that no one likes!!

LISTEN TO THE FANS WHO MAKE YOUR MOVIES #1!!

  20. And for the record, THERE IS NOTHING WOKE ABOUT DISNEY…

We could fully relate to the old marvel and Star Wars which provided us with issues we faced in society and life. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO MESSAGES, ANYONE CAN RELATE TO IN Their movies.

Hollywood is very much ASLEEP!!!! And these new movies just don’t provide enough moral substance to be deemed or classified as WOKE content, by any means

  21. Adam

People saying the movies are bad are just jumping on the bandwagon, very few of the marvel films have been bad imo.

I think endgame was like the closing movie for marvel to the mass audience that bought into previous films, after endgame it was mainly people who are superhero fan boys (like myself) that watch them. Those saying you can’t understand the movies if you haven’t seen the series I don’t know what you mean cus I’ve barely watched the series and I have no problem…

    1. It’s the flip side of people jumping on the “Marvel movies are great” bandwagon. The superhero movie tend has come and is now going away. The existing core audience will need to accept smaller budgeted films since there is no longer the mass appeal.

    2. N

      That was hard to read.

    3. They're

      No, they’re bad.

      1. Dog man

Disney is not what Walt wanted.
        Nor Stan’s creativity.
        May Walt and Stan
        Rest in Peace.
I am going to watch Snow White.

  22. Brian

Disney totally screwed up the franchise. To please investors they tried to have a movie per month thing. Streaming channels putting out content. It was ridiculous. It’s a dead brand and it didn’t have to be. Was anyone asking for “The Marvels”? Did we need an Antman 3 so soon? Thor Love and Thunder,? Did they read the script after tequila shots and bong hits? This was greed with no imagination.

    1. KB2

Well since the first Captain Marvel made over a billion dollars I think plenty of people including investors were asking for a second one same thing with Thor 4. Thor Ragnarok was great and made a lot of money so obviously a fourth one was going to get made and despite what bandwagon opinions you might hear that movie actually made a lot of money and it got positive reviews.

One movie per month? Please that would mean they would be putting out 12 Movies a year when the most we’ve gotten in one year is four and this year it’s only one so stop spreading false narratives and lies. The MCU isn’t dead brand depo3 is going to come out and blow the box office and hopefully that’ll Kickstart things even more. Not to mention Disney didn’t screw anything up they don’t make MCU movies Marvel does which is its own company under Disney

      1. Robert P

I’m a huge Marvel fan and believe Marvel has its best days still coming with Secret Wars and all, but, Disney is for some of the blame. Did you know that Cap was supposed to snap the gauntlet in Endgame? They had RDJ do it because Disney’s higher up officers refused to keep paying him what he was getting. Kevin Feige wanted him to stay on but that was Disney that made that decision. Nothing happens in the MCU unless Feige approves it, then disney has to sign off on it……. I hope the rebound soon.

    2. Tim Leery

We’ll see how Disney either does or doesn’t ruin ‘Dead pool III’, The next iteration of X-Men & the ruination of Star Wars by simply not letting it end. (Abridged version)….

  23. Me

I am so fuckin tired of the negativity towards the MCU. It is more exciting than ever imo.

    1. Rhon

      🤜🏻💥🤛🏻💣
      YEP!!

    2. Talwyn Kinehew

The negativity is mostly critics and there pseudo intellectual approach to “cinema”. However comic adaptations have a place in that. The problem is much(definitely not all, not even the majority) of what has been given to us at this point has been more about spectale rather than substance.
All they need to do to keep critics happy is to inject some “deep” point about the human condition or whatever (without being obnoxiously punchy with whatever is currently “PC”) stick to basic morals the majority can agree on and this would be solved.

      1. Todd Hudson

Look im a comic fan been reading since the 80’s they have forgotten what got them where they are which is the fans. Do not take fan favorite characters and change them for the sake of changing them for identity politics or dei reasons. Im not saying not to have dei or whatever but use it where it makes sense to the story

  24. John

My son and I could not wait for new Marvel movies to come out. Now we might go see them when they are released in theaters or we might not. After Iron Man and Stan Lee died and Falcon became Capt. America everything went to shit. I’d have to agree with the comment about Disney’s “woke” approach being a big reason the movies haven’t been as successful as they were in the first decade of the Marvel movie magic.

    1. Talwyn Kinehew

Falcon becoming Captain America is mildly woke at best. Careful you could be becoming a racist and not even know it, fool.

    2. Mista Murf

“Woke” is all anyone needs to hear. Just say you don’t like brown folks and women

      1. Samantha

Exactly. As soon as his complaint was a black Captain America, it’s obvious what woke means lol. We don’t need racists fans anyway. Good riddance.

      2. Todd Hudson

It’s not that. It’s the fact silver surfer hasn’t been on screen yet he’s a big character that fans love so what do they change him. It would be no different for me with al Simmons who is spawn making him a white man would piss me off. I want everything to be what I read in the comics

      3. Jack Sparrow

        Consume your slop, sheep.

    3. Ben

“Woke” has ZERO to do with it. First b/c the term “woke” has been so mischaracterized by right-wing politicians & right-wing media. Second, Sam becoming CA happened in the comics. It’s called a STORYLINE. And it’s NOT REAL LIFE, so what’s the big deal?!
Finally, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but plz STOP & get off the “woke” bandwagon excuse. If you don’t like a movie(s) that’s your right. Just stop with the bs excuses just b/c it doesn’t fit YOUR preference.

  25. Nesa

Majority of people using “woke” and “D.E.I” don’t even know the meaning of it nor the correct definition, besides the incorrect usage ya’ll got from FoX TV. Read a book instead of watching the Marvel movies.

    1. Tan

Thank you. Omg that’s all I see now. If your pissed Captain America is black I think the problem might be you.

      1. Couldn’t agree more, well said !

        1. Quis

F all of that why do they need to make a white character black just to introduce more black people. Instead why not build stories around the black heros and villians all ready present in the mcu

      2. Talwyn Kinehew

If you’re pissed off Captain American is black, you can KEEP YOURSELF SAFE!

        1. David

When people are trying to insinuate that others don’t like captain American, “because he’s black now” really don’t have an understanding of why people don’t like the new Captain America. Anthony Mackie is great as Falcon. And even though the Falcon did become Capt. in the comics. He didn’t seem to fit in right during the Falcon and Winter Soldier series.

Capt Marvel was pretty horrible. It’s watchable, but not up to par of other most other marvel movies.

        2. N

Wow the left is truly full of kind and not insane people who tell others to k y s. Lmao

      3. Bob

Could you imagine the outrage if Blank Panther was cast white?

There would be riots over Amercia…

        It cuts both ways…

    2. Kristen

      Amen!

    3. Talwyn Kinehew

Don’t even read a book. Just don’t watch Fox. Unless of course it’s Family Guy.😛

  26. Derek

But did he get to keep the van?

  27. KB2

I think the author is either twisting what Michael Douglas was trying to say or misunderstood what he was trying to say. What I got from his comments was that saying I’m probably not going to show up means they’re probably not going to do anything else with his character especially since it’s unlikely they’re going to make a third antman. So while Ant-Man himself will probably appear again in an Avengers movie or something Hank Pym and the rest of the Ant-Man cast are probably not going to show up again so he probably just wanted to have a better send off of him dying in a cool way instead of just never being brought back up again.

    1. Orian

Well it’s a shame because they basically reduced Hank Pym to a plot point/side character. Hank pim has had so much Marvel history it’s kind of insulting that he’s there as a cameo instead of headlining certain events. He’s the one that helps create the Avengers , actually designed Ultron, he also had a villain Arc. The MCU is wasting so much potential by trying to condense these Marvel characters and storylines that existed for decades.

  28. Robin Trent

Disney screwed the pooch. Ever since Stan Lee died it’s been a problem with quality and story line. The movies were a success because Stan Lee had control and he made sure they stuck to the story lines or the premises in the comics. Now? They are just out for money and the way they handled the last few movies shows. Disney needs people who are serious fans of the comics. My husband sits and tears every movie apart now. And Disney, character development and making people care about the characters plus a good plot line are just as important in movies based on comics as they are in other movies.

    1. DocKnight

Girlfriend, tell your husband he needs a life. There is nothing to tear apart in a Marvel movie! It’s a movie done for entertainment! Nothing else!

  29. Nancy

Disney taking over actively has really diluted and minimized the series. Thor : Love and Thunder was a disaster (and I love Thor!) with the possible exception of Russel Crowe as Zeus. Quantum’s is probably one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen!

The plots are getting thin, the writing gets continually worse, and the constant barrage of MCU tv shows, new movies, and publicity is just killing what used to be a great franchise. Disney needs to realize that, instead of cranking out a bunch of schlock, they need to take the time needed to deliver a quality product.

  30. Ron

Yes, all the movies since End Game have been getting worse and worse, mostly with Disney’s ever increasing wokeness, but not just that, It also has to due with the fact that each of these new movies don’t seem to have a purpose. Yes, Disney is trying to set up the next phase of there story line, but they seem to be also ending the last phase of characters with jokey, insulting, half a__ed endings just to get the next forced in characters in place for that next phase.
Besides that, it’s been 16 years of nothing but greatness in these films, and people are happy, content and satisfied with this great overarching storyline, and now l think people just need a break from it all and some time off from it all to build up an appetite for it again for the next storyline. Disney just need to hold off for a decade or so like all good franchise do before coming back and starting fresh. Disney owns 3 blow out franchises now, and they need to just work on one of them for a good run, then give that one a rest while bringing back the next, and again with the next after that, so each one gets a rest and a fresh build up again, and the could have a great thing going for themselves, instead of forcing it like they are, just to make a buck.

  31. Terry

I still enjoy MCU movies. I didn’t think the Marvel’s was a disaster. It was entertaining; not great, but not bad.

  32. Jeffrey Reed

Wow. The character Hank Pym has been around a lot longer than Michael Douglas has been famous. It is hubris itself to say that since he is done playing the character it should be killed off. What a ridiculous load of ego. I used to generally like Douglas, but this is too much. He needs to get outside of his own head and realize that the marvel franchise is a lot more important than he ever was.

    Make mine Marvel! 🙂

  33. Fred F.

They have made it all about woman hero’s & even changed the gender of some of the classics to accomplish this. This has turned myself & many others off of the MCU! I don’t need woke in my entertainment…

    1. Talwyn Kinehew

Nothing wrong with women heroes, or even changing gender (if the creative inspiration is genuine). But I agree they have made it about politics rather than what is morally right by being punchy with their point rather than simply having good characters(regardless of their gender or cultural backgrounds.) I think Immortals was trying to do this but fell short of the mark. No one is perfect after all.
The future is female idea is definitely spurious, and misandrist. We all need each other.
However, throwing the word woke around in a derogatory way only makes you look like a misogynist and racist.
So, stop it! Get some help!😁

    2. DocKnight

Fred, if you have a problem with women heroes, it is you who is the problem bud. Changing the gender from the original story should NEVER be done and that is a huge mistake. Totally agree with you there, though not sure which characters got that treatment. I am not that familiar with the comics at all and not really bothered how faithful they are to the source material. These internet no life you tubers bitching about that are just doing it for views because they can’t get a proper job, but sad thing is they are the ones that make most sound, just like empty brainless vessels

    3. Samantha

There’s literally less than a handful of new women heroes lmao. All about women? I think that’s just the presence of women. Calm down there boys club

  34. Tiny Tim

I love the marvel films; but now I rarely go to the cinema to watch them. I know that after 8/10 weeks they’ll be on Disney+ so me and the kids settle down on the sofa so watch them when it’s convenient to us.
Rather than spending £50 on tickets and almost as much again on snacks at the cinema, we just buy snacks to eat watching it at home.

  35. Char

Ant-Man is my favorite and kept me watching some new MCU’s for a while. Even peaked my interest to go back to watch some previous MCU’s that I hadn’t seen.

We all probably had that one movie or character that lured us into the Marvel universe ex. The Hulk, Ironman. Mine was Ant-Man!
Sad to see Paul Rudd leave the character behind, but it’s understandable/reasonable especially after 3 main title movies. I wonder how much more they would even do for a 4th Ant-Man 🤔
Maybe he’ll appear again in another movie like an Avengers or etc.

    1. Skye

The article doesn’t say Paul Rudd is leaving. It says that Michael Douglas wants to leave.

  36. Carlos

A lot of people in the comments can’t accept most people are rejecting “woke” bs. Most of these new MCU movies are trying to cater to special interest groups to make everyone feel included even if it makes no sense. They retcon’d the Marval Universe to many times and people are fed up. I expect less interested as time goes on.

    1. Colette

I’m sorry, explain like I’m five: How does a character being an unconventional race or gender “not make sense” or harm the quality of a film? What specifically doesn’t “fit” other than your attachment to the way the character looks in the comics?
Making Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury was the best move the MCU ever made.
It’s not “forced diversity” or “woke” to open casting up to anyone who wants to try out for the part. Which is all that’s happening here. And unless a character’s race is relevant to the plot/concept (i.e. Black Panther), anybody who wants to try out should be able to. If someone can absolutely slay in a role, it makes no sense to exclude them based on race (or even the dreaded gEnDeR! Shock! Horror!). So… sorry you’re mad that other people can act??? Somebody call the waaaahmbulance.

  37. J h

It seems very much casual movie goers can’t understand why hardcore fans care so much about their ip.

Please understand this. Mackie is a great actor….he’s not our cap…Chris Evans was amazing as cap….should of killed cap instead of moving the shield to falcon. rdj has gone…lots of us grew up with iron man. Most of us didnt grow up reading captain marvel, shang chi, etc. So why would we care about going to see those movies?

The endgame saga was just incredible….nothing since has come close to touching it.

Yeah pretty sure you can argue most disney films are woke af and that when we go see a film we don’t want any reminders of real world issues. Black panther was incredible because of the story, the acting and the way it connected to the mcu…Falcon as cap is no justice to the role.

We lost the two best strong iconic woman gomorrah and black widow….the two woman all us toxic men could support….now we are left with bree and …. Peppa? Just like Gina carano….disney and the woke mob call us sexist even though we voice our support for certain roles and actresses….who they ultimately remove from projects…

Secret wars could of been great….but f disney plus.. im not funding companies that support re education canps in China…

  38. Sandy

Endgame was “the end” of the Marvel family, as I’ve known it. We lost some main characters… Iron man , Captain America… Bozeman died leaving Black Panther lost. There have been too many changes. It’s just not the same now. Marvel started cranking out sub-par movies & I lost interest. I don’t want to see different characters in the multiverse playing roles that were assigned to other actors. It will never be the same. I’m very disappointed.

  39. Samantha

Loved Quantumania. I just had the patience to wait for it on Disney plus. In this economy? People are just on survival mode. I’m looking at maybe going to movies once or twice a year

  40. Wendell Holder

The problem with the MCU they keep trying to make each new movie funnier than the last. They see how people are flocking to Dead Pool and Guardians of the Galaxy think that’s what we want to see Thor in LOVE AND THUNDER (worst Marvel movie ever). In the comics Thor, Ironman, never told jokes don’t ruin it like Y’all ruined Star Wars.

  41. Q

    A couple things…

People complain about the MCU Disney shows when they’re a necessity. So what if you didn’t like she hulk? That’s the ground basis for “Planet Hulk” and the “Thunderbolts” movies. It’s how character get introduced or reintroduced.

Have fun watching Deadpool 3 if you haven’t seen the Loki series. You’ll spend the movie watching and wondering who tf the TVA are lol.

Since we’re embracing the multiverse, not saving Infinity War or Endgame was bad, but now since Disney basically has all the characters except for what Sony owns, why not redo the infinity war with all the characters like on that first infinity war comic book. Magus and everyone included.

I know this is fan based, but I think the movies are great. So to the people complaining, I don’t see your version of the movie hitting the big screen or a Hollywood production accepting your script. So don’t watch the movie, or watch it and shut tf up.

    That is all.

    1. Dave

A couple things. Nobody wants to watch that woke garbage no matter how much you whine and cry, that we won’t That’s why nobody watched She Hulk and nobody ever will. Lol @ its the basis for planet hulk. Just no. Nah, I think we will continue to express our opinions if we don’t like what we see. Thanks for your useless suggestion though.

  42. Christopher Jennings

Quite honestly the MCU died alongside Tony Stark with Endgame. Disney couldn’t risk making any significant changes until the Infinity Stones Arc was completed. Nothing but downhill ever since.

  43. Thomas

    It’s DC’s time now, let’s go!

  44. HailGluten

Michael Douglas has been in enough blockbusters to know a sonkingbshipnwhen he sees one.
I was ALWAYS shocked that he did more than that cameo.

    1. JR

It is hard to take your story/opinion seriously if you can’t even use spell check! A ‘sOnging shipwreck ‘ I believe you were trying to say a sinking shipwreck and ita sentence not one word. I’m pretty sure there should be some spaces in there somewhere?

      1. Shaun

Oh the irony….. “It’s a”…. Not “ita” You failed in the use of using your spell checker too 😂

        1. Lelani

At least his typo was readable. Yours? Train wreck.

          1. Probably want to read buddy. The person you are replying to is not the poster of the first comment. I presume you pisses a brain, use it

      2. Josh

The irony of this comment is priceless!

      3. Mike

Ita? Might wanna use spell on yourself before making an embarrassing comment making fun of someone else🤣🤣🤣

  45. NoWoke

If it’s good for Ms Marvel, it’s good for Madame Web.
(giant sucking sound of studio money follows)

  46. Andrew

Douglas is exactly Harrison Ford was in Star Wars. He wanted to be killed off in ROTHJ but got killed in the next movie. The actors are experienced enough to know when to bow out and move on. I agree with the premise that the modern MCU has gotten old it lasted for over 16+ years. Time for a change or a break.

  47. Charles

It hasn’t gotten old it’s gotten more woke over time that’s why the movies bomb at the box office and they lose tons of money. People are tired of the woke crap and having it shoved down our throats. Woke may have worked okay for Barbie but what did you expect from a Barbie movie Ken was always treated like a second class citizen even in the toy world. There’s not many places where woke is going to work though. I mean have your woke movies if you want to just stop trying to cram them down everyone else’s throat.

    1. CourtneyB

Wow, you managed to shove “woke” in there a lot. 🙄 Except for The Marvels none of the MCU movies have lost money and some have been huge hits—Dr Strange 2, No Way Home, Wakanda Forever. Even Love and Thunder. Studios would kill for their tallies. It’s just they’re not making as much in gross and in relation to budgets which are way too big. It’s the perception that quality is down, that there’s a loss the magic that made the MCU special. They haven’t found a Downey or Evans who can carry it.

      1. Josh

Are you being for real, or just that daft? Dr Strange MOM didn’t make a ton of money. Only Spiderman 3 turned actual profit. Marvel has been a bust since endgame. The guy is right that people are tired of the gay stuff, the girl boss nonsense, the falcon bs, and the shaming of men. Nothing has been profitable for signet
Disney/ marvel. Sinking 350 million in a movie production for it to make 550 is not a win.

    2. Jsb

      Sure, Chuck.

  48. Dingo O.

I believe they were trying to say, “He knows a sinking ship when he sees one”. Not to be rude, but it’s ironic that you’re commenting on OP’s grammar when you missed a comma, said “it” instead of “it’s”, and forgot to put a space between “it’s a”. Again, I don’t mean to be rude, but I suggest you do your own spell checking before calling somebody else put on their’s.

  49. WesCyde

You know whats getting really, really old? People complaining about things being WOKE. I’m sorry that being more aware of things that make people feel less than upsets you. But truly to complain about a movie about Heroes saving the world for being too aware of the people they are savings feelings and how they can better the world for them is asinine. That’s like watching Friday the 13th and being like did he really have to kill those campers… The answer is yes it’s the foundation of the damn movie. So to complain about a movie for the characters being aware of different people’s plight which is what true heroes do says way more about you than the movie.

  50. Terry J

Charles and Josh, I don’t think you understand our world and what makes us the humans we are. We come in all different shapes, sizes, histories, sexualities, medical conditions, etc. Marvel isn’t losing money because they are discussing these things. It’s because they are taking their time to develop the stories of their characters anymore. How many Ironman movies do we have? They were stories to understand the character and how he fits into the MCU. Now, they seem to be focused on just the storyline and rushing many characters in and out of it. I do agree the budgets can be scaled back as you take time to develop characters. Lastly, even though a character is introduced, it doesn’t mean everyone likes them.

  51. Geezer55

So tired of the running “woke” complaint. Usually a male. Probably unhappy that he’s not being recognized. It’s a new world guys. We’re seeing the whole story of humanity and it’s always been there, though in “code” in the past. You don’t like “wokeness”? You’re free to not watch it and complain about what you don’t understand.

  52. William

Antman is a great story, Marvel is a great source of stories, the problem is the two “D’s”, Disney and DEI … Disney is killing the MCU with their ignorance and lack of creativity and hiring poor writers (many who haven’t even read a comic book) and focus on DEI nonsense …

I certainly don’t blame Rudd and Douglas for packing up and looking for the exit door …. Disney has totally mismanaged their acquisition of Marvel, as well as Star Wars & Pixar, but that’s another story.

Keep hoping for a change of board leadership at Disney … fewer yes men and a wiser more capable CEO.
