I will never go back to Epcot after my experience on Tuesday. The whole virtual queue to get on Guardians of the Galaxy is a joke. Don’t expect to travel to Orlando and pay to get into the park and get on this ride. My son and I both tried at7am and 1pm to get into the virtual queue and did everything we were told to do by “Guest Services” and BOTH times literally 1 minute after the queues opened were full. We were in line on another attraction when attempting the 1pm chance and the family of 5 behind us got into the queue for the second time that day. It’s completely ridiculous I was refreshing my phone just like the guy next to me. There is no option to just wait in line. The only reason my son picked to go to Epcot over the others parks was because of this ride. I even paid extra for each ticket to have lighting passes. We had such a disappointing day and spent so much money that I’m actually offended and will never go back at to this park. It’s an extremely unfair system.
I was on the bus with people who were affected by this shut down. I had my lightning lane pass for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure be wasted when we walked to the ride only to be told it had been down for 45 minutes and would possibly not be back up that day.
It shut down on us on March 12the. We had tickets through the Virtual Queue and went in at our given time. After waiting 2 hours in line, we were told it was experiencing technical issues. We were given a LL for the next day to return. We traded it for a LL for Pandora Flights of Passage since we were not going back to Epcot. This happened just before Park Closing. Very disappointing end to the day.

First world problems folks. It’s happened to us there as well, it’s not that big of a deal or an end of the world crisis. Move on.
