I love the sea animal shows! But it breaks my heart to hear about inhumane or unethical treatment of these highly intelligent animals! They should have clean habitats and plenty of natural exercise. Veterinary care should be mandatory. Perhaps as in some other situations, animals that can’t survive in the wild could participate in these sea world type programs. That way the animals are preserved and extend their lives and the public can view these intelligent, talented and majestic creatures.

Breaking news from 54 years ago…. good job

  3. I believe if a dolphin cannot survive on its own it can be kept in a marine aquarium to recieve care . To use sea life for entertainment should not be allowed they should live free as much as I love seeing those shows its not fair to those animals

  4. Dolphins and other marine animals born free should remain free. These lovely animals can’t survive in those far too small aquariums. They need to swim long distances. Could you survive your whole life in a cell. I once attented a dolphin show near Brugge (Belgium) : too sad to enjoy because too small.

I agree with you completely! These other people have no idea or heart. All sea aquariums should be shut down. If you want to be an uneducated idiot, just keep paying to see animal cruelty! Try taking a tour and seeing them in the wild! It is ridiculous how ignorant some people are.

I think sea animals should NOT be used for entertainment…period. If they are sick they need to be in a high quality animal shelter/aquarium. Hope to be released back into the sea.

Here’s an idea, why don’t they just stop capturing these beautiful creatures and we can enjoy them in their own natural habitat. Then we don’t have to hear about the atrocities that are happening at these filthy unkept dilapidated pools ever again.

Animals are not on earth for humans entertainment.
Animals would rather be dead if not free

I Agree that Dolphins, Seals, Orcas, Belugas and all marine mammals should not be kept in captivity at Sea Aquariums unless they are hurt or can not survive in the wild. But if they are hurt the idea is to get them well to be released back in the wild. They could be shared for people to see them but not in any show unless it is productive for that animal. Maybe this way the cost of having them while they are hurt could be offset with educating people about these majestic animals. The aquariums should have regular goverrnment checks for health concerns of any captive marine mammals rather it is hurt, recovering to be released back into the wild or it can not survive in the wild. Programs to see these marine sea mammals in the wild sounds like a better way for people to see them.
