Yes! Disneyland please get rid of reservations system. We have been annual pass holders for 18 years, but having to reserve passess the joy put of having a Pasa and being able to casually impromptu and deciding to head over to Disneyland. We feel we do not get our money’s worth because reservations for desirable dates become unavailable. Seriously considering not renewing.

Reservations for a theme park? I will save some money and go watch several movies!!!!

Yes making reservations for a theme park is absurd!! I get during the pandemic but to keep it going after the restrictions were lifted makes it much more of a hassle to go!! Get rid of the ridiculous park reservations already!!

I like the reservation system. I think it keeps the crowds down.

    1. Of course you do, Karen

I like the reservation system too. The people that don’t like it are the people that love close by and want to go last minute.

      1. Hope this don’t happen to anyone else but last year we went with reservations, on re-entry we were denied access to the park citing it was too late, Disney is struggling to keep up with access to entertainment even if paid for, with us they lost a patron that had spend 16 vacations vising the WDW parks, I am not for needing to explain to kids and first timers why they can’t go in something already paid for.

What ever happened to spontaneity? It’s fun to get up and decide that day which Park you want to go to! And to pay SO much for Fast Pass and not to be able to use it til after 2:00 was ridiculous! I’ve gone to 3 Parks in one day a few times, but not with that stupid rule.

What everyone seems to miss here is that regardless of whether you like the reservation system or not, people would have been denied entry anyway. Typically in the pre-reservation days, Magic Kingdom would reach capacity and deny guest entry…except this time they purchased tickets and they couldn’t get in because of capacity.

  7. I used to hate the reservation system, but now that I have gotten used to it I like knowing since I live 1 1/2hrs away. I won’t waste gas 75$ each round trip just because parks are at capacity that since I have a reservation I still get in.

I don’t know what the hell is going on between Disney and DeSantis. I lived in Fla for 20 years always took my grand kids to all the theme parks in Fla. I have never heard of so much bullshit before DeSantis became governor. Disney and all the theme parks have brought millions of dollars into the state leave them alone

Quit all the lying. You buy a ticket and get your reservation all in one swoop. Because your a yearly pass holder doesn’t make you more important. Yes don’t renew. We won’t miss you.

    1. Yes, Annual Pass DOES .ake you more important!!!

Save money go to Knott’s they are cheaper than Disneyland and you don’t need reservations anymore.

    1. Knotts is alkt of fun!!!!!!

With the cost of tickets now, only the rich can afford to go and take their family. I’m choosing to visit other amusement parks where my husband and I can afford to take our 2 grandkids at the same time.
