With the prices going up of admission and having a reservation needed you would think they would be down but I don’t think it really stops with them from coming anyway they’ll show up no matter what.
The last time I visited Walt Disney world was in 2017 July it was hot it was raining and it was a little crowded because it was July no reservations prices were good and those who are with me had a good time those are the good old days.
Disney has priced itself out of the market for blue collar parents and grandparents. I took our children every other year but now it is just not economically feasible as grandparents on fixed incomes. Universal makes more sense as does other Orlando attractions. Our Grands enjoy Grandparent Week no matter the location. We visited Mammoth Cave and they enjoyed every step costing less than $50 for major tours. Greed at Disney is beyond the rainbow where they steal all the gold from the pots at rainbows end. Aquariums, zoos and amusement parks closer to home allow funds to go further while fueling the local coffers.
Disney is definitely not an inclusive theme park anymore. It is making it very unattainable for families to visit, especially low income, leaving them behind. What happened to “Ohana”, Disney:”no one gets left behind”. Remember that? The price is a crime.
We were there March 8-12th it was packed. I spent over $8000 for four adults and one child and was in sticker shock for a lot of the trip. Three in my party waited over 140 minutes for slinky dog even though time posted was 80 minutes. We paid for genie plus and lightening lane rides, including one at additional price, but weren’t able to get Slinky Dog on the 10th. Epcot on 9th were all long lines as well but while crowded the 11th at Magic Kingdom, it was the best day. Agsin paid extra for genie plus and a premium LL. So, yes no wonder I haven’t taken family in two years. We could go on Disney cruise for same $$.
Yep, I had the same where is the reservation!!Time to go back to regular easier getting the tickets for family and groups!!! Also using your regular employee pass!! After 50 years why would you try a different mode with sign in pass that needs a backup paper?? Holds the line up because some workers need a lead because they have never seen an old ID card! Just saying! The new generation needs to backup on the way to signing in! The crowds are overwhelming!!!! Wow !! Yikes I just read the comments and seems like we agree on what we printed!!! My generation came with great humanoids instilled in their personality. Born in the 50’s and hired in the 70’s!!! Just saying my hire date 7-1-72- Still having fun with my guests!!! The main idea let’s look at this ticket system!!! Totally agree with John’s letter above!!!🙋♀️👍
