Good for you in watching Loki, where he tries to save as many lives as possible- or would you not call that a hand-out? Seems pretty woke, using magic to go thru time to do so.sincr magic s very similar to science and not God given. Unless you count pagan gods as gods..which means you’re woke to other religions.

The article says they lost a LOT, a LOT of their subscribers last year.
Do they not understand that the cost hikes and the whole wokeness crap is to blame for that? ugh.
Actually if you do the math, they only lost 0.68% of their subscribers. That’s less than one percent; it’s infinitesimal. A number like 1.3 million is virtually nothing against a total of 150 million.
That said, I am one of the people who canceled my subscription to Hulu. It was too expensive at $20/month for no ads. When I called in to try to extend my payment pause (unfortunately not possible due to how the system is set up; I wasn’t upset by this as I understand the limitations of coding and it isn’t a big deal), I found out that adding Disney+ would’ve been a whole dollar extra a month (now this did bother me).
My family each splits up the subscription services. My parents get Netflix and Max. My sister gets Disney+. I got Hulu. My sister could hypothetically add Hulu, sure; she makes more money than the rest of us combined… but she won’t and that’s okay. It’s her money and she does a yearly subscription instead (it’d be about $8/mo to add the Hulu iirc). Right now we’ll just live without our shows. It’s unfortunate, but Disney is basically a monopoly and they’ve been jacking up that price almost yearly. People bringing up “woke” may be loud, but economics are a far louder reality.
I personally (even as much of a Marvel Fan as I am) don’t agree with paying double the subscription fee and getting less for it. What made Disney plus great has been replaced with greed as with all good things, smh. The streaming services are basically doing away with what made them great. A TV alternative that now is basically being operated in the form now. If I wanted to wait until a specific time to watch something I’d have cable TV, not what is and was a TV alternative. Now it’s the same as TV just a different name and more greed involved.
I recall someone saying ages ago when streaming started taking off that one day we’d be in the same boat that made us switch to Netflix, etc in the first place… having to pay for all of these darn channels just to watch all of the exclusive shows and the like. I believed them and if course here we are. It’s all very unfortunate.
My sister pays for Disney+ yearly. I used to pay for Hulu and had for years, but recently canceled in because of the price hikes. I was fine paying for it, but it was just too much. The real kicker was them telling me I could add Disney+ to my plan for an extra dollar. All I could think was, “You raised the price so much that it’s practically the same price as your bundle?” It was a little insulting; I slwsys felt they should’ve grandfathered in the older prices we’d been paying, but alas.
Here we are with Cable 2.0, back to never being able to find the show we want because every different app and its cousin are cycling through the licenses for them. Sometimes I just sit back and say how much I miss video rental stores, haha.

It’s rediculos and they should have a thing where people can pay more

Can’t stand the chanter. Watch Loki, loved Hawkeye, despite the Pewie, and Wandavision. Get for free from Verizon. Hardly ever watch woke crap.
