The problem with remakes is, we all loved the originals and when the remake is made, they change a bunch of things in the remake. WE LOVED THE ORIGINAL!! what makes them think that changes to the story line will make us want to see it. I go to movies to escape the world for awhile but when they are making movies that have to preach, no point in wasting money when I get that every day for free.

Quantity wasn’t the issue. The issues is that Bob decided to get involved in politics and use the Disney Company to do so. All the movies with political messaging are the films that truly bombed. Also, why all the live action remakes? Disney used to be known for it’s creativity, not it’s ability to rehash the same story over and over, ad nauseum.

      Amen. Exactly correct.

  3. Oh really

Creative original stories. Not blackwashed reboots of classics.

Bob Iget’s narcissistic belief that his worldview is the only one that matters and his Board of Directors that failed to remove him after he retired id at fault for these failures. No spin is going to remove the stank of Bob’s failed leadership Firing the creative teams while leaving the canker sore at the top won’t fix what is ailing Disney

Disney needs to give up making live action remakes of classics if they’re going to save money and they also need to give up DEI permanently and cancel all upcoming LTBQ movie projects as well as female lead movies like they were planning to do with pirates of the Caribbean six because it’s dishonorable to the franchise.
